Andy filmed the 5th series of Dao Ti green tea commercial recently in Thailand. His fee has undoubtedly no less but increased. The advertiser had invested a sum of 2.5 mil in production. The commercial was filmed in March this yr. His look is v special this time, he is a Japanese sword fighting instructor, teaching a gp of children.

Andy used 4 days to film the commercial. The location was at River Gui in Pattaya. A sweet 16 yr-old model who resembles Zhang Ziyi was his partner. She is a 1st yr U student. Andy had the intention of signing her, but as she can only speaks Thai, he had dropped the idea as communication is difficult.

The advertiser had made to measure a set of costumes for him the gp of children last yr. The costume alone costs close to 0.1 mil. An instructor was employed to teach Andy correct pose.

Under the 38deg temp, in the Japanese attire, he had to run abt on the field fighting with the model. It was v tough. He had to stop every hr to change the under garments which were all soaked with sweat. He said," I made at least 10 changes, it was dizzily hot. They saw my hands turned blue & thought I was poisoned. Haha, it was because the color of the shirt runs due to soaking in sweat. We were v worried that the kids may get heat stroke. But being so used to the heat, after a whole day filming, they are still so energetic, better than me!"

Andy is now shooting in Tian Zhu. At the phone interview, he said the location is even more remote than Gansu. With the SARS cases in Beijing, they have to be extra careful. They have to wear masks in crowded places. The VIP floor other than crew no one can access. Andy said Lam Ka Tong is miserable, though they stay same hotel, he stays in the lower floor. His bathroom faces the kitchen, everyday many people will look at him bathing!

Ge You, Andy & Rene are presently shooting NTIH, all the 3 acts as thieves. Ge You appeared as an gray-haired old man in cheong sum. As Ge You is a v good actor, Andy has to pay special attention acting opposite him. In filming a scene at the train stn, Rene suddenly broke out laughing, it was because one of the actors who was supposed to pretend sleeping on the train dozed off & was snoring!

Filming of NTIH was done at the waiting area of the railway station @ Tian Zhu.

Act1 :Andy was seen bringing some water for Rene who was sitting on a long bench. He patted her on the shoulder, put out both hands to massage for her at her temples. She declined he insisted.

Act2: Rene turned & was in his embrace, telling him she had waited for him to come, she was almost torn apart as the other party had reported her to the police. Andy told her if she did not slap him, he wont do so.

Act3: Rene struggled out from the embrace, asking him what he takes her as. He told her he will be with her like a shadow from now. She pinched his chin & said he is thinking of being together with her bank account.

At the waiting area, Andy acted a stealing scene. There was an artist who was absorbed in painting. Andy lifted up his coat put his evil hand in to pickpocket him. This scene was NG 4 X as Andy was stiff with the action.

100 over temp actors were called. Some went into the coach, some waited at the waiting area. Many were v eager to get into the coach thinking the scene will be taken inside the coach. But it was done at the waiting area, to the dismay of those who tried to get into the coach.

Those who had the chance to be on camera with Andy at the waiting area seated obediently, so as not to be chased out by the director. After shooing, Andy took off his wig , passed it over to the asst & left. The fans felt miserable as so near to him & yet so far. Later they gathered around the asst to get a feel of his wig!

On the movie being banned by the Mainland authority, Eric declared it has been given a death sentence at a radio interview, there is no chance now for it to be shown, He pins his hope in HK, TW, Thailand. The movie will go to Japan & other countries later, he hopes it can be screened in Cannes too. With the lost of 13 mil of copyright fee he hopes to make it up in other places.

Andy has acted with long hair several times in his years of movie career. In the new movie No Thief In Heaven, he appears again with long hair look, which was a fashion in the 70s & 80s, time when the storyline of the movie is based.

The filming location is in the desert, with wig & thick clothing Andy sure feels hot. Everyday after work, the wig will be washed clean for him.

Before the worker came to the rescue, he walked out holding both hands high to indicate he was fine.

Andy covered his face with a scarf when he is not on the set. Even then he still looks like a muddy duck everyday!

Though had face covered, he was recognized, everyday the guards & fans asked to take photo with him. On the last day, 100 over guards wanted to take with him, they surround his car when they failed to do so, Andy had to take with them & was trapped for 2 hrs.

The director had brought a chef from Beijing to take care of the meals. In the 7 days, each meal has 4 dishes plus a soup. Mainly vegetables & egg with tomatoes. Andy sometimes prepared his own for a change with food packets he brought along & shared with others.

As for lodging, he stays in a palce more comfortable then the other actors, has water to bath everyday, but as the temp drops to 0 at night, he needs the water to be heated up 1/2 an hr before he takes his bath.

The director Feng Xiao Gang, 56, is considered the 5th famous director in Mainland. His popularity is on par with Zhang Yimou in the Mainland. He has won several awards & many nominations.

Andy had left Gansu yesterday to continue with the shooting of No Thief In Heaven.

Jiang Hu was premiered in a grand occasion 2 nights ago. Though the actors created a merry mood, it did not help to change the fate of the movie being banned by Mainland authority, despite several changes in the storyline. When contacted yesterday, Eric lamented, "I am v disappointed. It was to be released in China on Labor Day May 1, now it is not possible. The deals involving 8 mil DVD copyright & 5 mil movie copyright is now gone. It was like stone sinking into the sea, how not to feel disappointed!"

One report said it was due to the man-beast sex scene by Edison. Eric clarified that it is not due to that, it is the problem with the theme of movie. Edison part had been snipped.

The movie premiere in HK showed this scene was similarly sniped, from initial 20 sec to 2 sec.

Eric feels that Mainland shd review its rules & regulations to give more space to the moviemakers. Banning the movie & DVD will only benefit those pirated business.

Some foresee Jiang Hu will have a good box office. Jacky Cheung who plays lead role said if it is so, it is because of Andy. Andy always has high box office record. The pressure is on Andy.

Andy has confidence with Jiang Hu as it is of a different style, in between Wang kai Wei & Johnnie To's. The feel will not be less than IA. Is he confident with being nominated? He said even nominated it will be only in Supporting Actor, the other 3 actors are leading actors. He was acting as the leader in the movie.

On his win at Chinese Film award in Guangzhou, when asked if he was touched, Andy replied he believes it is due to his accumulated good deeds.

Peng Deng Hui said he had wrote a script title Tian Yi( Destity, same as Andy's song). He is inviting Andy to act with him as teacher & disciple. He will come to HK next week to present it to Andy.

Arena of Stars invested at 40 mil to commemorate 73 artistes was officially open yesterday in HK. Tsim Sha Tsui was star glitterati attended by many senior artistes. Due to work, Andy, Stephen, Tony, Chow Yin Fat & Maggie Cheung were not present to admire their own handprints. .. There are stalls by the 2 sides selling mementos such as of HKFA trophy etc, proceeds will benefit the running of HKFA.

The newly elected President of Chen S P will hold inauguration ceremony on May 20. Most singers try ways & means to avoid attending. At the phone interview yesterday, Andy quipped, "I don't know abt this. Basically I was not invited. I would be filming in Mainland. Anyway I don't know politics. I am not avoiding I have filming to do."

Eric Tsang, Andy, Jacky, Shawn, Edison, Miao Qiao Wei, were at Causeway Bay Time Plaza for the premiere of Jiang Hu yesterday. Despite several changes, the movie is yet to be approved by the Mainland authority. This however had not dampened the spirit of those present. A few hundreds gathered to watch the event. One road was closed. 2 hoses were used to create man-made rain.The 2 leads Andy & Jacky came decked out in black suits, each holding umbrellas bearing movie title Jiang Hu, amidst cheers from the audience.

The actors gathered to had a meal to celebrate. Later the organizer brought out a cake to congratulate Andy's win at the Guangzhou movie awards. Emcee initiated 3 cheers from the audience, 'Congratulations to Andy!'. Andy was smiling all over.

The actors sprayed champagne at each other. Andy helped Jacqualine to wipe off the alcohol from her face. Lam Wan sang a song from the movie. The premiere was full of water.

Edison & Shawn actually acted as the young Jacky & Andy respectively in the movie.

TITLE: ANDY BRINGS AWARDS GOME

After winning HKF Critics Society & HKFA Best Actor title, Andy continued to bag Best Actor & Most Popular Actor in HK & Taiwan awards at the Movies Media Award in Guangzhou. He was not able to go Guangzhou that night to receive them. Yesterday the organizer sent the 2 trophies to him. He said happily he would bring them home & put them beside his HKFA trophy, a month later, he will bring them to AWC to share with his fans.

Anthony was the guest presenter of the award. When he announced the result, he teased, "This person! Whatever he can do I can do also! Haha!" When he imitated The Big Guy in different poses, the audience cheered out Andy's name.

When Andy learnt that Anthony had gone to Guangzhou specially to present the award to him, he was sorry that he didn't make it. On Anthony's remark, Andy quipped, "Is it, what he said I believe, He didn't lie! Ask Johnnie if he will film ROKII, then each of us will act one, see who is better, haha!"

Andy was crowned Best Actor with his movie Running On Karma a third time & Cecilia Best Actress with her movie Lost In Time, at the 4th Mandarin Movie Media Award, touted to be the Oscars in China, held in Guangzhou last night. Both were not able to attend due to work commitments.

Andy was also conferred The Most Popular Actor with his movies ROK & IA3.

With thrice crowning, Andy expressed happiness. It is the first time he wins so mnay award with one movie. He wishes to thank the media for the support. He did not forget to feel happy for Anthony who had also won the award.

He had suffered a lot filming this movie & had thought of not filming this type again, but now he is full of energy & is willing to put in as much effort again.

He was filming Johnnie To's movie Man & Woman Thief( Wit Pitting of Man & woman) yesterday @ Kwun Tong with Sammi. On the new found case of SARS in China, he said there is no worry, as the shooting location will be sterilized & he can wear a mask.

The set will be in Italy later to take some outdoor scene. He is not sure if he will attend Cannes FF.

There was a news report that an artiste from Chang Sha worried that he cannot learn the art of face-changing, & is going to learn it so as to teach Andy. Andy indicated that everyone needs not worry for him. He has followed the procedure in Sichuan Art Academy to learn the art. He has been taught the basic of the art. The art needs perfection thro practice. He wishes to thank Chang Sha artiste a lot. As to Peng Deng Huai's claim that he had secretly imparted the art with 6 face-changes to him, even if he were to lose his job, Andy will feed him a lifetime.

Is Andy willing to do so ? Andye quipped handsomely, "No problem, if my teacher has such outcome, I will fulfill my duty as a disciple. If he has no food the most is I add another pair of chopsticks on the table."

As to the news that Peter Lam wishes to sign him & LL in the same co, but to avoid having 2 tigers on the same mountain, Peter will start another co, each singing one up. Andy smiled that Peter has wanted to sign him long ago. But he is not sure if Peter will suddenly become a bad guy? He jested, "No problem with how many tigers in a mountain, I am one who is able to withstand hardship. But Peter has to wait, as I have court case. But I am not sure if he will become a superman too! If he becomes a bad superman I will die! So the most important thing is for him to promise me that he must not sue me for life!"

Peter Lam retorted that Andy shd be the one not to sue him for life!

The movie Jiang Hu has not been approved by Mainland authority & may not be able to screen during May 1 golden slot. Eric Tsang however is still hoping for an approval. He had added in a police segment & sent in as a final attempt. The outcome may be known today.

The premiere in HK will be held today @ Tong Lor Wan . The road will be closed & a man-made rain is expected. But this may affect the media activity, it is being considered. The newcomer Lam Wan & Chapman To will be present to sing the songs.

Sigh! Yu Ke Xin, how come there is such a person who clings onto a dream occurred 20 over years ago without letting go, still lives in the memory of the past, has never thought of growing up?

Whenever there is news on Yu, the topic is always something to do with Andy Lau. Time & again, whether she stripped or did not strip, took or didnt take photos, sangg or filmed, as if without Andy, it will not come true.

If one has to depend on the past to become famous, & further still one has to make use of the one who was once one's other half, to do once is considered too much, do twice will lose the effect, do it time & again, what value has it got left?

Andy is invited to be ambassador of Life Educational Activity, which is set up for children age between 5 to 15, to impart knowlwdge on health & drug prevention. Andy indicated the activity is meaningful, he is all ready to assist in the health development of youth in the country & urges citizens to show their concern & donate generously.

Andy left Gansu 2 days ago. At 6 am, he took an 8 hr journey to Lan Zhou airport, flew to Beijing, then to Guangzhou to film a sport shoes commercial. After arriving Guangzhou at 12 mn, he started filming the commercial throughoutt he night.

He will be back to HK to attend the premiere of Jiang Hu & set off to Tain Zhu the next day to continue with more shooting.

While Andy was shooting outdoor scene in Gansu he had to use a scarf to cover his face, like a masked man. This is due to the vast variation in the local temp, it can have 4 seasons in a day, from zero deg at night to 26 deg in the afternoon, in addition, the sand storm is v strong due to the high altitude.

Though Andy covered his face, he was still tanned. When he went back to the hotel to bath, his body would be covered with sand & dust. Even the nose was filled with dust. His shooting in Gansu attracted not only HK & Mainland media, the whole of Xia He residents stopped their work to see stars. Outside the hotel where he stayed were fans calling.

Andy had employed a chef from Beijing as he was worried not used to local food. Though his Mandarin is fluent, he has difficulty communicating with them. When told he sacrificed himself in the movie. He asked , "How to sacrifice? Does that mean I strip? Sacrifice in look? As far as I know in my version I don't have to die." Then he teased, "La Ka Leng temple was 3000 ft above sea level. Once the director came to see me. I could not find him after a long wait. As I stayed at the 4th floor, I looked down the stairs, I saw him panting at the 2nd floor. He may have high altitude sickness, he could not reach 4th floor. probably because of this, he didn't tell me I need to die!"

Andy had collaborated with Zhang Yimou & Feng Xiao Gang consecutively, he said both directors have their own style. Zhang's camera is more colorful & glamorous, Feng dares to venture, he will shoot & decide later. One is like a gentleman wearing suit, the other is a worrier with jeans.

Andy respects Feng working attitude a lot. Such as shooting at La Ka Leng temple, is something no one had ever done before. On the first day of arrival Andy had gone to meet the high priest, who had not only gave his blessings also gave him a lot of presents.

2 days ago he completed shooting all his parts, which involved a theft scene at the temple. Before he left he had photo taken with the staff & those guards who helped to maintain order. The photo took 2 hrs to finish taking.

When Andy was filming in Gansu, day & night in front of his hotel were fans screaming for him. There were more than 300 people waiting for him at the door when he was taking photo with the guards, it was like a mini fans gathering. Local award-winning Ge You conceded defeat that he is not as popular as Andy!

Lam Ka Tong though has no role in Gansu he attended the press meet.

While in Gansu, Andy bought a local Zhangs costume for 600 rmb & 2 lama hats. On the present trip Andy quipped it was so tough that the listeners would feel sorry & cry for him. On the first day, instead of 8 hrs journey to location, they took 11 hrs as they took a longer route after meeting with some street fighting.

He was trailed all the way on the first day at the airport, in the next 3 customs he found reporters, all the way to his hotel. He feels the Mainland media is fierce, HK media is all out, they use whatever method just to get what they want. Some disguise as Lama monks to get close & interview him.

House of Flying Gaggers spokesman from An Le Movie clarified that the movie has never applied for contest at Cannes FF, as the director feels that the movie is not suitable. The movie however was invited to be screened in CFF. The show in Cannes will be the first premiere in the World. The movie is finalizing the last stage of work in Australia at the moment.

Andy has left Lan Zhou temporarily yesterday via an afternoon 1355 hr flight. Though there were not many professional fans , cheers & screams from the airport staff was enough to show his Heavenly status. It was raging high as soon as he appeared at the Vip lounge, fans swarmed from all directions. He smiled & waved goodbye to them. He will be back soon to continue with shooting. Shooting is said to be in Tian Zhu next, for 3 days before setting off to Beijing.

For days, there were calls to book the room stayed by Andy & Rene & even requested the rooms left un-touched. The room stayed by Andy was taken over by Lan Zhou fan at a price of 2000 rmb while that by Rene 800 rmb.

Just when Chang Sha artiste Zheng Jin Gui openly expressed his wish to teach Andy the art of changing face, as Peng Teng Hui has until now no news of teaching Andy.

Peng Teng Hui disclosed to the media in Chengdu yesterday that Andy has already leant the art 4 years ago! He can even change 6 facesĦI

On 22 March 2002, after the ceremony, he claimed that he met Andy for 3 hrs in a room privately. Within this 3 hrs, Andy who is v vlever learnt his first face-change art. Subsequently whenever they met, he would take time to teach him, within 4 yrs he has mastered 6 change of face. He added Andy is a student of Sichuan Art School so his learning is not a personal affair. He even said Andy displayed what he had learnt during his bday celebration in 2002 with his fans.[ !!!!!!!]

He had made a deal with Andy that he is not to disclosed his new learnt art.

Accordingly, Andy is still not aware the news of his learning has leaked out. Sichuan art authority said they will investigate the matter.

Media Asia boss Peter Lam had formed a new record co with LL, & roped in a high officer from Sony to develop LL's music career. In addition, he is also looking into means to handle Andy's album.

If Andy were to let Lam handle his album, he will not be in the same co as LL. As such, Lam is planning to add a Media Asia record dept to release album for Andy.

News had it that asst director from a record co is joining MA in July to handle concert & other works.

As Andy court case is still unsettled, Lam will release album for Andy when he is a free man. If Lam is successful in roping in LL & Andy, he can divide the cake in entertainment world with Emperor Gp.

AIR LAND SEA PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITY GONE

Jiang Hu is banned in Mainland. Eric had initially planned a 3-pronged promo activity involving air, land & sea. He had arranged for actors & media to take a train from Beijing to Shanghai, hold the activity on board the train, then fly to Guangzaho, & finally back to HK by boat. It is a pity now his wish cannot materialize.

57th C FF will be held from May 12 to 23. The only HK movie that enters the contest with 17 other movies is 2046. Though House Of Flying Daggers is not one of nominees, it is taking part as a non-contesting movie

Ellis Teng at an interviewed was told abt Yu Ke Xin who openly talked on Andy's sexual ability, Ellis said she does not know who is Yu & has not read the report.

Shawn Yu disclosed that he knew the theme song will be sung by Chapman To long ago. When asked why he lose to To, he quipped he is not as fat, as fat person has more strenth in singing. He does not mind To singing. He teased To when he saw him for snatching the song, To said cos he is hungry. Actually both are good friends. Andy chose him as new singer gives a new feel.

…Shooting in Gansu will be completed end of the month. Indoor shooting ---within the coach will be done in Beijing. The movie is planned to wrap in 70 days, or in October...

?Andy said he has not met with a real thief before. But he finds his things are always missing at home, his watch, ties. He finds out it is his mother who keeps them for him. "Then it is home thief." One reporter said. "Cannot say like that, my mother will scold." To practise fast movements with hands, he had tried catching soap in warm water..

Yesterday Andy attended the press meet of No Thief In The Heaven, held @ Gansu La Ka Leng Temple. Other attendee included Ge You, Li Bing2, Rene, Lam Ka Tong & Wong Bao Qiang. Media from HK & Mainland were also present. The movie is a collaboration of Media Asia & Mainland Hua Yi Brothers Pte Ltd.

Andy & Rene both decked out in traditional local Zhang tribe attire, which they had bought at the market a day earlier. Andy said this is not his screen costume, he wore it as a form of respect for the locals tribe. The weather was v hot. They were perspiring all over. The meet was held outdoor, the prop almost toppled a couple of times. When the director & Wang Xiao Bao were being interviewed, the prop almost dropped on them. The situation was messy when Andy was being interviewed, though security giards were called in, many police & guards themselves went to his back to have their photos taken.

The wind was v strong, Andy gentlemanly gave his cowboy hat to Li Bing2 & gave Rene an umbrella. He shielded the sun for Rene.

Though at a high altitude of 300 ft above sea level, Andy said he is in good health, he has no high altitude sickness. On the cooperation of 3 award-winning actors, he felt v satisfied. He said Ge you is a v good actor. He is a cultured person. Does he has pressure acting opposite him? He quipped he has not. He is happy to be involved in a big production.

This is the 2nd time Li Bing2 works opposite Andy. It was once rumored that she fell in love with Andy after filming Cat & Mouse. Li denied, she admitted she has fond feeling for Andy but not love. She is happy to work with Ge You & Andy.

Ke You who is good in acting praised highly of Andy that he is a good actor.

The director disclosed that the movie with 40 mil investment will be released during Chinese N Y. He denied he started filming before getting approval letter, but admitted the script was changed a bit after approval. The movie directed by him earlier Cell Phone won Mandarin Movie Panel Of Judges Special Award. He feels honored. That movie had 53 mil box office, he hopes this movie will be even better.

Andy & Yu Ke Xin had been separated for donkey years, but Yu time & again talks on Andy. Yesterday she disclosed to Taiwan media that Andy is the man among men, his is extremely good on the bed. When the reporter contacted her yesterday, she denied saying. She said when she was asked if Andy was gay, she replied he is not. The reporter asked how was her sex life with Andy, has he got any special identification? She laughed, "Hahaha?I cannot remember?hahaha! It was bustling at the bus terminal. Local Zhang girls danced merrily, hawkers selling knives, clothes were starting the day, ?shooting had started here. Though the location was not big, there was a complex mix of persons, some Caucasians, some robed monks, some tourists, some children frolicking about. The director had divided them into groups for the shooting, it went on till 1 pm but Andy was no where in sight.

Actually he was not free. At the East side of the station was a make-shift tent, beside the tent were parked 2 long distance coaches. A row of cars for rent were parked in front. In the tent were sold drinks of all kinds, & there was an ATM machine. What was going on inside ? It was wrapped with secrecy. A sharp-eyed onlooker said Andy & Rene were shooting a kissing scene, but they quarreled after for reason unknown.

At abt 2+pm, a yellow coach stopped in front of the tent, the conductor yelled, "Train station.." touting business. A few tourists went up the bus. Suddenly Rene rushed out of the tent, stamping her feet, screamed "I want to go home !" holding an ATM card. Followed closely out came the handsome man thief in a khaki long windbreaker, long-haired, yelling at her, "Come back!" & agilely hopped onto the bus. Just after the bus had left, a police car screeched by, 8 fully uniformed & armed police arrived. But the couple had gone ! The scene took 3 to 4 takes to complete.

Andy, Ge You, Rene Liu & Li Bing Bing are presently in Gansu shooting Tian Xia Wu Zei, or No Thief In The Heaven [No Thief On Earth]. Andy's look as the thief is uncovered for the first time.

The crew was about to shoot at the hall of La Ka Leng temple but perhaps due to making too much noise, they were stopped & told to leave by the High Priest.

Actually 2 nights ago the director, Andy & the others had paid the High priest a visit. They told the priest that there was a scene whereby Rene Li saw an artiste painting gold on the eyebrow for the Buddha, she thus became repentant & vowed to turn over a new leaf. As this scene is v important, they requested the priest to allow them doing it. The priest however, turned them away, saying they cannot shoot at the chanting hall, & worse still draw on their Buddha.

The set has faced setbacks since starting. Earlier it had irked the country chief as shooting started before approval, the director was seriously reprimanded.

Andy is in good mood during hooting, he had a video cam to record scenes, many seek autographs from him.

Jiang Hu has been scheduled for release on May 1 in Mainland, HK & other SEA countries. It is a pity the movie is not approved by Mainland. Eric is not optimistic with getting an approval even with some cuts. He has wanted to delay release, but 40 HK cinemas have already set the date, so it will be out on the same day.

At 8am yesterday, the crew arrived at La Ka Leng tepmle to set up props. @ 820am, Andy & Li Bing Bing in the same attire as 2 days ago arrived. Shooting started at 9 am. In the next few hrs of shooting, the director just shot the meeting of these 2 thieves.

Actually 2 days ago shooting for 3 hrs under the hot sun was only a trial run. The actual one was being taken yesterday. The director wants only the best for his movies. His attitude of work is indeed respectable.

At the scene, Li Bing Bing picked on Andy. In front of the temple, closed to a hundred worshippers prayed. There were also some tourists. Andy was holding a vido cam recording. Li coming from behind, picked pocketed Andy when their shoulder rubbed. But it was said Andy too picked her wallet.

The scene took a whole morning to take. Andy did not utter a single. They used body language to convey the message.

At one point when Li turned too fast, Andy told her, "U turn too fast!" Andy's fans who were watching closely nearby got excited. They failed to get his autograph, 2 fans cried.

As it was a real take, the security was v tight. 2 reporters found to have cameras were told to delete all the pic before they could be released.

At abt 1 pm, the crew stopped for lunch. Andy under the protection of some members, went up a car to rest. It was that his lunch comprised of meat with cauliflower, eggplants, egg with green pepper & black fungus. He had veg soup.Andy did not bring any chef with him. He eats as all the rest.

At dinner time. the kitchen had prepared veg & passimon, small pears, fruits for Andy, as requested by him.

Many locals were involved in the shooting, some are locals, some are overseas students who acted as tourists. They disclosed if they follow one take, they were paid 30 to 40rmb.

The reporter also noted tents have been set up in Xie He town center. It seems to be the site for shooting a scene committing crime in town center. It is said there will be a scene involing robbing a bank. The art director from HK had been called in.

It was reported on the net that Andy developed altitude sickness & became breathless. The newly crowned Best Actor other than having a few asst, has 5 body guards protecting him. When contacted, he confirmed that he has no sickness, it was a wrong info. He has no breathlessness. Before he set off from HK he had visited dr & prepared some medicine. The director in order to prevent media from photo taking, is said to change filming location just the night before.

The theme song of Jiang Hu is composed & written by Andy. Jacky had indicated he wont be singing. Andy who is embroiled in court case is not able to record song. Edison & Shawn are both likely candidates, but to avoid complication of roles, or not being able to choose one of the two, Andy had appointed Chapman To who had acted in IA to sing the song. When contacted, Chapman replied, "Don't know, what do u think, haha!" It is yet to be seen who sings the song.

Andy was at shooting location looking no different from any other time yesterday, the car accident as reported has no aftereffect on him. From 10 am to end of the day, either shooting with the locals or Li Bing Bing, he was professional, chatting & laughing all the time with the director & actors.

At 10 am, in a cool outfit & under protection of bodyguards, he arrived at the location. He wore a black cap, coffee-colored coat that goes below the knee, & a pair of similar tight fitting long pants. He had a pair of extra large sun shades, his long neck scarf reach to his knees. His asst shielded him from UV sun rays. Though he was all cover up, his handsome demeanor is irrepressible. As soon as he arrived, fans screamed, even the female reporters praised he is good-looking.

This is his new screen look. With a digital cam on hand, a cigar in mouth, he mingled in the crowd. He picked on the tourists when they were not paying attention. Though he is good at pick pocketing, the locals stand-ins actors created many NGs, after 10 over times it was still not ok, one scene took over 3 hrs to take.

Despite NGs of not less than 20, Andy was still in good mood, & active. he entertained himself by jumping here & there. Occasionally he almost tripped, making his fans screamed in fear.

At the trial take, he was either busy conversing with the other actors abt Mandarin, or helping the director to direct the Zhang locals on the set. Whenever he is successful with a take, he would not forget to signal to his fans who had gathered for a long time there. This again made them screamed in excitement. He gets along well with people, everybody calls him Hua Zai.

At 3pm, Andy was shooting a scene with Li Bing Bing. It was scorching hot. The director is v considerate. He said, "It is too hot, hope all of u can stand a while more, we are finishing soon, thank you all!" He told the locals to rest in the shade time & again.

Li Bing Bing who is also a thief, mingled with the crowd & picked her victims. Both of them identified each other as thief, but did not disclose each other's identity.

Li had worked with Andy before, they are like pals this time. When she was slow & had to do retake, Andy will playfully chided her for being slow.

Shooting ended as scheduled.
