ANDY HAD UNCEASING PLEASANT SURPRISES MEETING FANS

Andy held a last birthday party of the year 2009 with 800 fans last Saturday, Boxing Day, on the next day he held an Andy World Club Bowling Contest, though his team came out second he had a holidays filled with incessant pleasant surprises.

In his blog with title 'A Holidays filled with incessant pleasant surprises' he said at the birthday party, his ‘family members’ kept informing him about their marriages & new additions in the family. During game time, he randomly picked a cell phone number to call to give as pleasant surprises. At the party, his big-sized driver Nelson dressed up as Santa Claus, even came with a knife on his hand to cut the cake, described as 'smiles with hidden knife' scenario.

The next day was the bowling contest, the alst one was held 3 years ago. Andy had bought private balls ready for the contest. The number of entries was 200, a full booking. A flash of thought came to his mind to withdraw from the contest, worried there were too many 'crouching tigers & hidden dragons', but with his 'Huazai spirit' he never should give up.

He teamed up with Kent Cheng & Ng Ka Lok as A team for the friendly match. B team was led by HK representative Wu Siu Hong. Faced with strong opponent, his team could only managed to get second position, he felt that he had not done well, so he said a word of 'Sorry' to all!

Sammi held first of her 11 nights concert in HK Coliseum 2 nights ago. She introduced Andy as 'An important man in my life.'

Andy held her gently by the waist while singing a song with her. Sammi gave him a peck on the cheek. The two promised to film a movie after her concerts, targeting at the 30,000 audience. Sammi even made a pact with Andy to hold concert next Xmas so that she can be his guest.

Sammi’s concert kicked off last night on Dec 24. Her ex Andy Hui was at the concert from the beginning to the end. Sammi indicated her love life at the moment is as dry as Sahara Desert.

Andy was invited to perform at her concert, while Andy Hui was seated at the audience seat. She self-ridiculed that her love life is as dry as Sahara Desert. Taiwanese actress Big S always takes Andy as her idol, all because of the movie, Future X Cops, their distance was brought closer, she was even able to have a passionate kiss with her idol. She further revealed that her mother is also a fan of Andy, when she got to know her daughter is acting opposite Andy, she was very elated & pleaded to pay visits to her at the site.

The movie slated for release in February in China & HK. In it, Big S & Andy developed a love spanning time & space, came with a mouth-to-mouth smooching scene.

Andy is Big S’s idol since she was young, she was so excited to be able to kiss Andy in the movie. Big S played an Interpol, while Andy was a futuristic cop from 2015 who incidentally entered the life of Big S. The two developed a love affair. In the scene, Andy in black-rimmed glasses, despite the age difference, hugged Big S tightly, they even kissed passionately on the street. It was hot.

When asked on this, through phone, said Big S, "Andy is very gentlemanly in shooting, before shooting he explained clearly the angle & how it should be done, so even the weather was cold, & there were many onlookers, I felt at ease. "

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Macau's return to China rule, Andy held a concert @ the Macau sports field yesterday.

The show started with Andy descending from mid-air with a wire, the audience was extremely excited on seeing the stunt. To get close to audience at the back seats, he shifted the wire to the center position, at almost 8-storey above the ground, he was steady, continued to wave & chat with the audience. During encore, he said excitedly, "Are you all unwilling to go? Then give me the rest of your time, no matter what it is in future, I want you to stay to keep me company, you can't escape from my grasp!"

Chocked with emotion, he said there are ups & downs in life, he hopes everone can remember him.

He was back to his mischievous self after that, he asked everyone to take note of his new movie going to be screened soon. Then he before he sang his new song Mother, he teased, "Every year at this handover celebration, just call me back to sing, then I can have the chance to meet fans in Macau." He hope every year there is this day fro him.

2 nights ago at the Macau East Asia Sports Stadium was a grand cultural night, Jacky Cheung, Josi Ho together with 700 other performerattended. Recently, MV for the theme song of Expo Shanghai 2010, Smiling Shanghai, sung by Andy, Coco Li, JJ Lin, Jane Zhang, Yu Quan, Cheer Chen & Jam Hsiao was released. The MV took 2 months to edit before the last stage of production was finally done.

To bring out the song effect, the team has specially invited Ken Chung, a famous American Chinese commercial director to take charge. Shanghai Expo 2010 designated absolute right to QQ.com to be the first in MV release.

The most prominent feature of MV is the friendly smiling faces of singers. A 3 D globe circulates continuously around the singers, who are clad in white Expo tee shirts.

To convey love for planet Earth, & taking care of our environment, special computer effect was used to make iconic buildings from different cities of the world as backdrop, Shanghai Expo main hall appears extraordinary gorgeous & eye-catching.

The MV portrays person, city & globe coexist in harmony. The singer each uses hand gesture to draw in the air a smiling face, the smiling face is then changed to mascot for the Expo, the exquisite creation indeed is an admiration of all.

In order to film more of the singers, the production team had gone to different cities, Shanghai, BJ, HK TW to film the MV. All the singers were serious with his/her part. Though each can only sing a few lines, a few versions had been made for each of them. The MV comes with only one aim, to impart the message of Expo, 'City makes life better', the main aim of the Expo.

The movie acted by Andy, Future Cops is due for release during Lunar New Year. Since after his marriage was exposed by Apple Daily, this is the first movie where Andy plays lead role be screened, it is enough to test if his popularity is affected. The new martial art action movie, Shaolin Temple, which is invested with close to 200 million rmb, will start shooting officially this month. Director Benny Chan invited Lohan master to teach Andy Shaolin gongfu, Seven Star Fist, incorporating the real gongfu into the movie, the process of Andy learning was unveiled recently.

Actually Andy had started learning two months ago, separately from martial art director Corey Yuen Kwai, martial art instructor Yuan De in private, & had referred to videotape to study the basic skills of Shaolin fist fighting. Until last week when Yong Zi master came to HK in person to teach him Seven Star Fist fight. Within a few days, Andy was able to grasp the art well.

For days, Andy who has followed the master to learn the art together with the other disciples is in a very good shape. The master has forceful & swift knocks out, he is also very strict with every movement & step, Andy has the least bit to be lax, even a small action, he humbly practises repeatedly, diligently merges his physical strength in it.

To understand the meaning of Shaolin teaching more thoroughly, & to be able to play his role well, Andy had also visited the temple secretly for three days, to deepen his understanding of the Shaolin teaching.

On his Zen practice said Andy thoughtfully, "I never had a chance to learn in a temple, in there other than chanting sutra, I do nothing, not even hp was with me, as long as you have nothing to think about, no disturbing thoughts, actually it is possible not to talk for three days. I feel so at ease, & full of energy. (Do you take special diet for keeping the body shape?) Diet is as usual, as a lot of calories is used up in the training, so appropriate food is needed. But everyday when I mediate at home for 45 minutes daily, after every session I feel energized, thinking become clearer, this is something I have done for years without change."

On the teaching from the master, for the first time Andy feels the sense of "displaying the emotion in action" (during the process of learning one naturally brings out the mood of the martial art display), & able to understand the true meaning & spirit of the art itself, in actual fact, the true meaning of Shaolin gongfu is mot just martial art, it has an element of cultivating one’s mind, fusing martial art & Zen.

Accordingly, the master is never willing to come out to teach disciples, many have in the past heard of his name & wanted to learn from him, he did not agree to it, this time for the filming of the movie he broke his record, said, "20 years ago when the movie Shaolin Temple for the young to watch, this time hope through this movie the true meaning of Shaolin is being promoted, the martial art is not meant to fight only, this time Andy has a chance to learn the art, such a destiny, how not to get close to him?"

ANDY SANG PRAISES ON EAST ASIAN GAMES OPENING

Andy was the performing guest @ the East Asian Games 2009 2 nights ago. At his blog yesterday he shared his feelings. As the area around the site was closed to traffic early, though he had to perform at 8 pm, he was there at 4 pm. After the opening ceremony ended at 9+pm, the traffic & audience were directed to leave orderly. Andy stayed for another 2 hours at the site to leave at around 11pm. He thanked security guards for their arrangement.

On the opening ceremony, Andy felt that it should not be compared to the opening ceremony of BJ Olympics, said, "Be it on man power, material availability, & preparatory time, they cannot be compared, but east Asian Games has put forth the broadest performing platform, the biggest performing stage, many audience came to participate, this is a good beginning."

He indicated BJ Olympian Equestrian events were held in HK last year, that was considered the first time HK held a big international sports event, this year HK is holding E A Games, it is progressing, just like the standard of HK sports arena, it is being elevated.

After he had reached home, he arranged the photos taken at the ceremony to share with his fans.

HK 2009 East Asian Games 2009 opening ceremony was held last night at the Victoria Harbor. This is the biggest international sports event ever held in the history of HK, indeed time when all the HK people feel happy about. In order to celebrate this grand sports event, other than a large-scaled opening ceremony was held by the HK government, in Kowloon, HK Island & New Territory big shopping malls held activities to welcome the sports meet, singers & entertainers were invited to perform to boost the atmosphere, & bring heat to the Games.

Alan Tam, Andy Lau, Joey, Haken Li, were performing guests at the Victoria Harbor floating stage, together with dancers, children, they unfolded the vigor of HK city, & prayed for blessings to HK in continuing to create legend. They feel honored to perform hopes that everyone can exhibit the warm hospitality of the Chinese, putting aside all negativity in the past.

Andy feels that HK holing of Easy Asia Games is just like having an activity of own house, being a part of it he is really happy, on knowing HK athletes Steven Wong getting a gold medal he is very excited.

There were some setbacks & negative news on HK holding East Asian Games , HK lacks experience in holding large scale games, it thus needs the support of everybody, it will get better eventually. If everyone is not satisfied with the government, it is like isolating HK athletes, an understanding approach is needed from all circles. When asked if he had asked his family members to show support, he replied, "Many thanks."

As star guardian of Ronald McDonald Hose, Andy brought his 2 sons Andox & Box to pay a visit to the sick children, including a child who is under treatment for kidney cancer, & some who are waiting for marrow transplant. Andy gave them gifts & pre celebrated Xmas with them.

Earlier on he had filmed a new promotional video & had photos taken. He had drawing sessions with the children outdoor, he who is good with sketching, taught them how to draw to bring out their inner feelings, & make dreams come true.

He encouraged them to be positive in their fight with diseases. He also pre-celebrated Christmas with them. The children had an unforgettable merry day.

A 12 year-old Jia jun who was diagnosed with leukemia before had a recurrence of the disease & has to be re-admitted to McDonald Hose. Calling hismelf a fan of Andy, he was very excited with Andy's unexpected visit, he promised Andy that he will be positive in the battle against his sickness so that he can recover. It was a touching sight.

Andy was @ the recent car exhibition in Guangzhou, he stood in for the label he endorses, Acura. The investment by the car company has brought duel effect in promoting popularity of the brand name & an increase in the sales volume.

His appearance attracted many fans who were reluctant to leave long after he had left. On that day, the fastest network platform responded swiftly to spread news of Andy's presence at the Acura booth, with news report & video upload, individual blog and so on, at that instance news occupied headlines of website news, from the automobile, fashion to the entertainment. Organized by China Disabled Persons Federation, China Foundation for Disabled Persons, a commemorative show to mark International Disabled Day—Annual Charity Show BJ 2009 was held @ BJ Workers Gymnasium 2 nights ago.

Andy presented 3 songs, The Chinese, Mother & Love You 10,000 Years. While singing the last song he was accompanied by China Disabled Persons Art Group, with dance from Thousand Hands of Goddess of Mercy team.

During the rehearsal, when Andy saw how these dancers coordinated so accurately with the melody, without missing a beat, coupled with their graceful postures, he was deeply impressed, he exclaimed in disbelief how they can do so without hearing the music, by just looking at teacher's instruction they are able bring out the entire song melody, even conveying so well the meaning of the lyrics , their smiling faces were infectious & touched hearts of others.

The group assistant regimental chief prepared two Thousand Hands Goddess of Mercy which were plated with gold foil to Andy, saying that represented "blessings", a gift they give to head of the state whenever they visited a country for performance, Andy accepted the “the blessing” and praised the gift is very attractive.

When he sang Mother, a pair of 5 year-old deaf twins performed Chinese martial art, Andy was very impressed & moved on seeing their innocent smiling face & full of lively action. When they had finished, Andy told them, "I too have a pair of sons, just like you, the elder brother is shy, while the younger one is lively." He presented them with the cartoon toys of Andox & Box.

The little girl who sang at BJ Olympics held the lucky draw box to the stagefor Andy to pick the biggest present for the night, which was a 'voice transmitter' with autographs of all the artistes, Andy autographed on it & presented it to the lucky winner.
