With Yu Ge Xuan was the time when he was in his 20s, it was a time of romance with dreams. Andy ever said his 3 years relationship with Yu was beautiful, when he reminisced his time dating her in Taiwan ridding water bicycle together. Andy was interviewed by C radio dj Chai Xiao Xuan yesterday.

He disclosed actively that he had received a newspaper cutting from his fan, the report said that if he does not admit his wife & child he is like Chen Xi May (Story of a Chinese scholar who denied he was married & have child after passing the Imperial exam & became an officer cum son in law of the emperor). He understands that this fan is actually v concerned abt him, with his position today, even if he is open with it, his work will not be affected.

But Andy said until now he is not married & have no child, how to admit? Added everyone has different way of life. He promised to let everyone knows when he gets married, as it is v hard not to let people know, already it is so hard when he is not married.

The dj asked him abt his plans on bearing children.

He admitted readily, "Really wish, I really wish to have children, best to have 4! ( Then u have to be fast…) Don't need to be fast, get a young one, can already. I think... I will married within these 3 years, have one child a year. When they are 20, I would be abt 63, 64 yr-old, I can still get quite close to the next generation."

"To get married within the next 3 to 4 years & have children?"

"Yes, I have to plan, & keep body fit. Haha!"

The dj followed up closely, "If u plan to get marry within 3 yrs, then u must have a love one alreday? Is your ideal person in the circle ?"

"I think it is v hard to have love life with sameone in the circle."

Andy said he has already planned for his future, he will have no money problems, such as he has prepared a sum of money for his family members, even for his next generation .

Andy returned to HK yesterday from M’sia. He was at Da Po Supermart to promote the movie D O A D. Anita was absent Many male & female fans gathered to support with banners. Andy who was in high sprits moved abt the whole place, the shopping mall suddenly teeming with festive mood.

It was reported that his gf Zhu Liqian took a 6-yr-old daughter to watch his show at the M’sian concert. When asked by the reporters abt the details, Andy appeared v helpless, he quelled the rumour by declaring that he has no child & is not married. He refused to talk on any other things.

There was ‘Change-face’ show yesterday, everyone thought it was arranged by Andy. Andy explained that he does not know abt it at all.

The most comical part was the organizer arranged 100 small Santas to join the show. With all his might, Andy failed to control them, he ran round & round. While busy giving the speech, he had to direct them to wave. He said, “I really cannot control them, one look u know I have no children. I don’t know how to teach children. I have no child, I am not married! Let other say what they want.”

There was an auction of the dance costumes in the show. Andy & Sandra performed their dance together. There was also a Latin dance show, & other games.

Andy & Sandra, Ekin & Lau Qinwan were at the promo of their respective X’mas movies, D O A D & R O O T II yesterday. From the nos of supporters, D O A D beat ROOT II. The former had abt 3,000 fans to support, the scene was bustling. ROOT II had abt 300 onlookers.

Andy also clarified that he greeted Eason as usual the other day & Eason did not avoid him. He said he left in a hurry when the reporter asked him the question, he told them don’t raise the topic again but was reported to show a black face. Andy said it will be unfair to Eason if everyone dig this up again. He hopes this will come to an end as they will be meeting again in music awards & hopes all will not embarrassed Eason.

15/12---Today the schedule is rather tight. Afternoon had a press con for DOAD, to introduce to the reporters abt this new movie. The movie will premiere in M’sia next month, hope the audience here will like it.
After that went for fan club gathering, other than fans in M’sia, fans from around South East Asia attended, […Andy, fans from Japan & Aust too…], chit-chat with them, it was especially relax.
Tonite is the last nite of concert. The response of audience is greater than last nite, when I sang some more touching songs, even male fans dropped tears. Tonite’s fans were really 100% absorbed, I could even feel it on the stage. Thanks to fans in M’sia, hope next time when I come everyone can be so absorbed.

14/12---It had already been 5 yrs since I held a concert in M’sia, v happy this time can can have 2 concerts in Genting. Looking from my hotel room, many scenery was covered by the clouds, feeling like flying on top of the clouds, v beautiful!
Maybe fans in the tropics were more hot, the M’sian fans were as hot as the S’pore fans, response were equally hot. Other than screams from female fans, I could hear screams from male fans. Never expect the male fans here were so hot. Many thanks to the support of fans tonite, hope tomorrow nite the fans would equally enjoyed.

13/12---Finally come tho the last station of Concert Tour this year! Flew to M’sia today for the concerts in Genting. Stepped out of the airport, saw many fans coming to receive me. Thoughhad not seen them for a period of time, the feeling is still close, like old pals meeting one another. Hope the M’sian fans would enjoy tonite’s show.

Eason Chan was embroiled in a 'tiff' recently because of his comment on the Heavenly Kings. Though Aaron Kwok had reconciled with him with a Hello, Andy seems to bear the grudge still. The two were at TVB8 amusic awards, Eason took Andy like transparent.

At the awards, Eason & his old pals were seated beside Andy. He continued to turned & talked to Nic Tse & Edison behind, chatting nonstop in soft & loud voices. He intentionally avoided eye contact with Andy, he did not greet Andy at all. Andy who was seated there was left to himself & could just looked at the singers performaning on the stage.

The reporter asked Andy if he said hello to Eason. In a gloomy face he said, "Yes,yes...!" The reporter did not ask further. But when Eason was asked if he saw Andy. He replied, "I didn't see him. I only chatted with Cecilia Cheung."

12/12---This afternoon attended a most laughable prg! But this time Sandra is really a good helper, accompanied me to RTHK for the promo of D O A D. If everyone has listended to this radio prg, I think your reaction will be the same as mine. Within the one hr of interview,really made me laughed till 'holding onto stomach'. Even hard in breathing! Haha~~
Later I attended TVB8 Gold Songs awards. Received the Gold Song award for My Heart Can Only Accomodate u & Most Popular Male Singer fromthe organiser. Many thanks to all for the never-forsaking support.I wil continue to work hard,bring good music to all.

Andy, Sandra, Cherrie & Lin Zicong went for an interview at RTHK for the promo of D O A D yesterday. Sandra is the dj for C R, her situation is thus rather embarrassing.

She said she had not asked for permission fr CR. She joked that there is Andy to back her up. If something happens, Andy would use double salary to employ her. Andy had promised her in his concert that if she twisted her spine during dancing he will feed her a life time. Andy, seated beside her, said, “If D O A D does not sell, then u got to take care of me the whole life, haha!.?#060;P> Sandra had wept secretly as she thought her filming in the movie was not good enough. The movie uses Sandra Mandarin name ‘jin-ru? Is Andy worried that Anita will be unhappy? “Actually the name of movie is ‘Ai Jin Ru Meng Pang?but people had forgotten the last 2 words.?#060;P> Sandra said this is the most happy movie she had in 10 yrs, she told Andy, “Filming of this movie is really tough, I took 6 days leave, loss a lot. That is because I love u v much, not only Anita loves u!?

Andy has confidence with the movie, though there is blockbuster Harry Potter, he estimated there will be a 2 mil box office.

11/12---Finished busy with D O A D final stage of work & movie promo in Germany, today went back to office to settle some office work. From this week onwards, I will have promo activities for D L A D, so need to use the time well.

2 nights ago Andy was at C R for Sandra Ng’s prg, ‘Wah Wah Wah! I hit U!? Sandra is a super fan who love Andy crazily, after co-acting with Andy, this crazy love for him gets stronger. At the prg, she praised highly of Andy in being nice to all & good at handling situations. His movies have taught her life principles.

Andy humbly that he learns thro?experiences. He has learned to be more responsible, he takes note of everything & makes sure everyone is happy. On work , he had not thought of his responsibility towards the society before. After enlightenment from Johnnie To, he realized ‘Liu De Hua?3 words have become a society responsibility, many youngsters will learn from him. So he has to be careful himself. Johnnie reminded him even a bad word from him on the screen, the impact is vastly differently if the words were to come out from another person. Many people feel that what he has done is correct. Many has known Andy’s culture since young, so today he will not anyhow film movies, he has to study the role & continues to bring out good movies.

On G H awards, Andy praised that Lan Yu with 4 awards is commendable & deserving. He admitted he has no courage to film gay movies. But previously maybe he dared. In the award winning gay movie by Tony Leung, Wang Ka Wei had approached him to co-act with Tony but he was not able to make it due to time. In R O O T, there were scenes on torturing children by the pervert killer, but was slashed due to the influence it might have.

In filming F T K, Johnnie wanted to get Andy a double, but he nobody could imitate his walking!. The 3 djs made jokes of Jiang Hua who always impersonates Andy. Andy said other than this person, no one else can do better.

In TV prg, he wont sing live, as the audience would not be able to get the feelings of the one on the stage.

10/12---Today do dubbing for D L A D, movie will be out next week. This movie is really quite good, everyone take note! After working with Sandra, really so hard to part with her. Haha! So tonite accepted her radio interview, does everyone listen?

2 nights ago Anita Mui held a concert, Mui Music Show, at Exhibition Hall, Wanzai, in celeberation of her 20 yrs in showbiz.

Her guests included Andy Lau, Andy Hui, Jacky Cheung, William So, Kelly Chen, Grasshopper, Wang Yau Min etc. They took turn to gave her a kiss & a hug, & fought to have duets with her! She actively danced steamy steps with them. Her dance with Andy was the most steaming & wild, they had direct body contact at the chest again & again, fans screamed non-stop.

Anita was in a sexy outfit, exposing her glittering T-back undies.

Anita & Andy talked sensually on stage. On seeing Andy, Anita said, “Why is ur face so flush??Andy replied, “When I see u I become like that. Not only face red, sweat all over too, big sis Mui?

Andy had earlier filed a law suit to sue Superwarm for not paying him the commercial fee of 1.5 mil. The case is now settled. Superwarm will pay him back by installments. He clarified that he has no problem with the cooperation all the while, but he was forced to do so this time. He was careful with the contract as such the problem was settled quickly. Asked if he has a bountiful income from commercials? He admitted com fee is not a small sum.

Baleno endorsed by him in Mainland has become the highest selling brand in Mainland. He was asked to be the spokesman as his image is practical, not blind follower of branded products, in tune with its theme. Actually Baleno has always tops in sales, but lately it is leading by leaps & bounds. Andy increase in fee? 9/12---Today leaving TW, but before I left saw a Taiwanese news report. It reported the reason for me not getting the award. After reading somewhat unhappy. But I couldnt be bothered. I wont remember, & I will continue to work hard.

After returning to HK, lot of work waiting for me. Afternoon had autograph session. Saw many fans, feel v close & happy. Quite a period of time do not have close distance contact with them.

Nite time attended Anita’s concert. Wah! For a long tome have not been on the stage & together with so many singers & had so much fun. It was just like a party. At the backstage then realised I was alreday wet thro?with sweat!

Andy held an autograph session at Causeway Bay yesterday for his Summer Fiesta Concert VCD & DVD. Though 200 coupons were snapped up early, many fans queued overnight. Few hundreds gathered at the scene. The shopping center was packed to the brim. Many onlookers cruised up & down the elevators just to see him. At its peak the nos swelled to a thousand.

As it was v packed, 10 over security guards were deployed. Together with Andy close-body guards, abt 30 to 40 in all were present to maintain order. When Andy had finished with the session, abt a thousand people, fans & onlookers, lined the 2 sides of the street to send him off. The security had to close the road temporarily to allow his nanny car to move. It was like an VIP out on patrol.

The vcd & dvd had all sold out 10 days after it hit the stores. Andy said due to bad economy the price was slashed.

Andy returned to HK yesterday. 70 fans were at the airport to receive him, plus his accompanying fans to Taiwan to see the awards, the airport suddenly turned v busy. The fans cheered, "Andy, u are the best!"

Looking a bit down, Andy was asked if he was disappointed. He denied , “No, not at all this time. Already expected! Now get back to work! ? He added he did not expect Durian Durian to win so many awards. It was a surprise with 4 awards, but Andy is v happy for Fruit Chan.

He was asked at the airport if it was because he did not win the award, so his fans pulled out of the show early?

“No such thing. They were with me all the time, they stay till the end & follow me to the hotel.?#060;P> Why didnt he attend the post awards party?

Andy explained that he was with his fans. The fans were disappointed, he had to console them in turn.

The same questions were asked again at the autograph session. Andy stressed that he did not feel disappointed. But he is disappointed with Taiwan newspaper comments. They said the judges commented that at the ending of LOAD if he could have acted as Fatso, then maybe he would win.

"But this has nothing to do with my acting, This is the script, I have no control." he quipped & added he is already satisfied on being nominated. He seldom films art house movie, to get recognised in a commercial movie is already good.

2 nights ago at G H awards, Francis Wu was the guest to give out Best Actor award. At the minute of announcing the name, he pulled the word ,”Liu…….?in reading, before he read out the winner ‘Liu Yue?

At post-awards party, he was asked if he was trying to pull Andy’s legs.

Francis clarified that initially he did not know how to read the word ‘Yue?so he lengthened the time in reading.?Luckily I did not finally read it out as Hua, otherwise I would be dead!?He was also worried that Andy would think he purposely did it, so the moment he came down the stage he bowed & apologized to Andy.

The announcement of Best Actor award was the climax of the show. The word ‘Liu?gave Francis cold sweat.

He said he had no intention of hurting Andy. The audience at that moment thought Andy had won.

8/12---After 16 hrs of flight, during transit the plane couldn’t take off, we were so worried couldn’t arrive in time to Taiwan, luckily finally could make it in time. I believe everyone know the results. Actually from the moment of being nominated, I had already faced it like usual. Though couldn’t get the Best Actor award this time, I will continue to work hard, hope everyone work hard together with me!

Hi Greetings from Vienna
We are big fans from Andy here in Vienna.
Allthough we donot speak any Chinese it does not hinder us to be fans from HKG movies. We got from the promoters tickets for the premier here in Vienna and we we were really exited.

First there was a fan meeting in an imperial salon in the French Institute. Where Andy answered the questions of the appr.150 Chinese Fans and appr 5 Caucasian including my friend and me. Of courese we had to rely on the translator.
Then there was an appr 45 minutes internet chat with Andy. And in the evening there was the movie premier in down town Vienna. Andy showed up befor the movie for appr 15 minutes and answered questions to the reporter of the local tv station. And he even sang 1 song.

After the premier there was the party in the hotel SAS. Again it is a very tradtional hotel, which gave the party the right enviroment. After Andy meet the Chinese Ambossador he came to the very small stage (2 x 5 meters) and answered Questions to the local TV station again. Since I know the reporter I can tell he is a really .....!
Let s say he was very unproffessional. We had really pity with Andy. Then Andy sang 2 songs. Me just next to the stage (yeah) .And afterwards he got a very big cake to celebrate his 100th movie.
So what I can say is this was THE Andy - Day for Vienna. In Yesterdays and Todays Austrian Newspaper you will find a lot of artikels with Andy. The biggerst Movie magazine had a big interview with Andy (lot of pics) The essence is that Andy is an hard working artits but it is questionable if the Europeans will understand the HKG style movie. So I only can hope that some of my pictures will come out well.

At the red carpet walk, Andy with his super charisma, attracted many fans to dash cross police bar, resulting almost a tussle between TVBS crew & fans.

When Andy took time off to go the gents at the ceremony, he was swarmped by fans seeking for his autograph. Every of his visit to the gents resulted in a stir at the backstage, the crew had a tough time clearing the way for him, Andy was v tactful in handling such a situation, he does not like the crew to yell & shout to open the path for him. He specially asked the crew to lower their voice.

Hualian was raining cats & dogs, Hualian airport opened & closed repaetedly the whole day. A morning flight arrived but turned back to Taipei & went again later.

Andy arrived at Song San Taipei airport at 3pm from BKK, he was worried on hearing the news. he joked, "Ah! Heavy rain in Hualian, if cannot go because of flight, win or not win, people will have something to say."

Before the GH awards, Andy was calm. He was alreday the Best Actor in HK F W & Bauhenia Film Awards, as soon as he arrived, fans presented him with a 'crystal horse'. Andy said, "I alreday have one horse, is a crystal one."

Andy & Ekin chatted with Michelle Reis on the flight. Andy disclosed that Teamwork will film 6 to 8 movies next year, the most outstanding will be Feng Yin II, he will act the role of Nameless, & hopes to get the same cast as in Feng Yin I.

Andy on arrival, was received by screams of his fans, he signed autograph till his hands were weak.

At Song San airport, Andy was mocked by fans & reporters, a gp of people accidentally knocked over some luggage, the owner of the luggage was yelling rudely. Andy retorted back loudly to him, "Say that again." The other party immediately quiet down.

Andy specially rushed back from Germany to attend Taiwan G H Awards. from Germany, Andy had transit at Bangkok, waited at Song San airport, a total of abt 20 hrs. What a relief to catch a glimpse of him, he in a eye-catching white ensemble seated on the first row! Yes, he was in time for the ceremony. Though he did not win the Best Actor award, he was under the spotlight time & again, showered upon him by the host Guo Yi Ping. He was asked to lead in the applause for her when she sang a line, he was asked to show how the new chair worked & how it feels. Andy demonstrated, posed & put both thumbs up. He was even asked to autograph on the chair he was sitting. All eyes were on him. His fans were similarly focused. Who say he & Fruit Chan were not friends? He smiled, looked attentively & clapped for Fruit Chan when he won awards. When Chan's movie won Best Movie, Andy turned back & hugged him instantaneously. Chan thanked Andy both times when he was on the stage.
It was a good show!!

38th Golden Horse Awards was moved to Hualian this year. It was raining for the whole day in Hualian yesterday, the temp dropped to v low, many flights were delayed. Walk of fame started at 6pm, because of the rain, the guests were sheltered under umbrellas.

Andy was in a smart white suit, not unlike a white horse prince. Carina Lau who turned 36 yesterday came in hand in hand with Andy at abt 7+pm. Both of them looking so dashing holding heads high walking in the drizzle, sans umbrella.

At the spur of time in announcing the name of winner of Best Actor, Francis Wu continued with, "Liu....". This made the audience thought it was Andy who had won, until he announced the winner was Liu Yue, on the big screen saw Andy with a look of disappointment. Liu Yue who was first crowned the title looked relaxed, in contrast to Andy's.

Andy & Ekin fans were seen lining up under the rain to cheer for them with banners, as if in HK music awards. They left soon after they know their idols had lost.

Andy arrived at Taipei airport at abt 3pm. He took the same flight as Ekin, Miscelle Ries, Stephen Fung to Hualian.

Because of the rain, flight was delayed. Police cars were used to lead the way to the hotel. Fans were waitinig at the hotel, esp Andy fans, they rushed & followed him from the door step to the lift door, making Andy alike Tom Cruise.

They shouted, "Andy we support you forever!" Andy & Ekin appeared embarrassed as their fans shouted slogans in turn to support.
