Andy, Shu Qi, Denise, Lam Ka Wah & director Andrew Lau were at a promo activity for Look For A Star yesterday. The organizer arranged 3 pairs of couples in wedding gowns for a game of blissful marriage.

The 3 new couples declared their pledge of love, Shu Qi was moved to tears, while Andy was more interested in the 'bride' who was pregnant.

When the emcee asked the actors how they seek their blissfulness, Andy quipped he is one who gives blissfulness, & will get a female to share it with him. Shu Qi said she is not one who is shy, if she meets her dream mate she will go all out to love, while Denise said she is used to love the other party secretly, & will wait for him to take action, she trusts having strong faith helps in love.

Andy admitted that he always asks for more on career, love, friends, & health he understands there is no limit to blissfulness, he knows how to be contented, he disclosed that in all fields he has enough, when asked if he will get pointers from the pregnant bride, as blueprint for future? He laughed, "If gf is pregnant, the man has to be responsible too. "

The reporter was quick to ask which lady will share his blissfulness? He said, "I don't know (do u have a time table?) When I have a lady then we talk about it. ( Do u have a gf?) Yes! Many! Still choosing!"

She had a hot bed scene with Andy in this movie, but it was only some hugging, & some screaming, smiling, she quipped, "Shooting an intimate scene with Andy makes me feel loved & blissful. 7 trs ago when I filmed Blue-Blooded ManI did not have much scenes opposite him. (Did you ask the director to add more initimate scenes with him this time?) Haha, no matter how much money I shoved into his pocket I failed." On Jan 9, Andy, Shu Qi, Denise were @ Commercial Radio for a radio drama recording. Andy said he will take a month-long holiday after shooting, Shu Qi showed her admiration on the long brweak taken by Andy.

When asked on the most unforgettable things that happened during shooting, Andy indicated that a scene of being on the same bed but having different dreams was the most unforgettable. ANDY WILL SING HAPPY NIU YEAR SONG WITH LIU MEI WEN

Andy is again picked to be guest singer of Spring festival celebration by CCTV this year. It was said his partner would be Eva Huang, according to a news report yesterday. But the reporter confirmed that his partner will be the original singer of the song Liu Mei Wen. The news has also been confirmed by the song producer Tang Haiwei.

Happy Niu (Cow) Year coincidentally sounds the same as engligh words Happy New Year. The song narrated wishes of a man & a woman & wishes of family members, it warms the hearts of people yet comical. The song included earthquakes, milk scandal, raising housing cost, stock market & other big events of the past year. It has been named the No 1 new year song for the year of Ox by the netizens, & is very hot online.

What follows was the title of the song has become a common greeting words, widely circulated among the people in China. The song was picked by the villages & a soy sauce company to be the theme song for the spring festival, but it was later taken by CCTV, many singers were speculated to be singing.

The reporter leant from the organizer that the song is now confirmed to be be sung by Andy, while the female partner is not Na Ying or Eva , but the original singer Liu Mei Wen. Accordingly, the song Happy Niu Year is the commercial theme song of a famous brand of milk company for the Chinese new year. The song was selected by CCTV because it suits the local favor in terms of the title & content, for the content, it reflects on the thoughts of the locals.

Also, the milk company is one of the main sponsors, they had wanted to let the original singer sing the song, but finally it was decided Andy will be invited to sing. Andy agrees readily, as he too likes the song. His partner is the original singer Liu Mei wen.

Before stepping into 2009 Andy pre-celebrated a prosperous new year. He was in San Francisco earning money filming an advertisement. He quipped he would soon become a Fat Hua, as he took 4 meals a day everyday. Luckily there was an A-class Bruce Li to fight with him for him to keep fit. He too stole time to roam the streets. No wonder he was very satisfied with the trip, as he had done enough, ate enough & played enough.

Andy went to San Francisco secretly to film a commercial, after a lapse of 6 years, despite being not open with his schedule, the moment he stepped out of the airport 10 over fans

were there to received him with big banner, he had a pleasant surprise, the fans took the opportunity to give him home-made yummy food, such as deserts, sandwiches, even stew soap, indeed very warm & caring.

There was another thing that gave him a happy surprise, he met 'Tang Shan Big Brother'! But Andy insisited of having a fight, as he really want to have a work out to keep fit. He had been taking 4 meals a day, he had Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Italian food, all things on the globe, his weight has increased, he needed the exercise!

Andy is very satisfied with the trip, the schedule was tight but he found time to go shopping, many shops in S F were having sales, the shops were crowded, at first no one recognized him, Andy & his workers could shop with peace of mind. But when he was at the cashier, the sho**eepers suddenly recognized him & yelled, this led to a commotion, the situation turned chaotic & uncontrollable, Andy immediately went back to his car, his workers had to help him pay the bill.

While on the street he saw a American-Chinese BB, his mother was a fan of his, & requested to have a photo with him. Andy had a good time carrying the BB, even unwilling to give the BB back.

Andy always restricts his intake of food, bit fans in S F sent him delicious food everyday. The food his likes most is Chinese food, he ate to his heart content on seeing Cantonese food....

For the first time ever Andy is acting in Tsui Hark's movie, an ancient-costume spying thriller, Di Renjie.

International Comingsoon.com website reported yesterday that Tsui Hark together with HuaYi Brothers company is collaborating in a new movie Di Renjie, with production cost as high as US$13 million. The site said Andy is confirmed to play lead role.

Tsui Hark's wife, Shi Nan Shen is the executive producer, she confirmed yesterday that the movie will begin shooting at the end of April in China.

Di Renjie was the prime minister during the reign of the female empress of the Tang Dynasty , Wu Zetian. According to Shi Nan Shen, the period movie will have suspense as theme , screenwriter is the Taiwanese director Chen Guofu.

This is the first time Andy acted in a movie directed by Tsui Hark. Andy had acted movie New Shanghai Bund produced by Tsui Hark before. This is also the second time since after House of Flying Daggers that Andy plays a role of Tang Dynasty.

ANDY WILL HOLD CONCERT IN CHANGSHA

Another male doctor is seen in the Taiwan entertainment circle, Chen Xiao Feng who has graduated from Kaohsiung medical college has joined the circle. In his debut movie, Future Cops, he acts opposite Andy. Said, "To me, being on a wire is tougher than operating."

Taiwanese Scholar Company has invested in several movies, & has formed a managerial company, it has signed up Chen, & promoted him to act with Andy. In it, Chen played the villain 'Bat'. In a scene he flew from a 4-storey height, with only a wire at the back. He personally acted the scene, with 10 over takes, before action director said ok. His father has a shipping company, since the age of 5 he was talent scouted by a modeling agency to film commercial while shopping with his mother. He always fantasize to be a star. But not to go against his father, he entered Kaohsiung medical college. During free time he came to Taipei & worked part-time as a model, but he was found out in his 3rd year, it was a 'revolution' at home, he then joined the army. After army he completed his study. While studying he continued to be a model, was on TV & advertisements.

2 nights ago singers gathered at Times Square for a countdown to welcome 2009 with the residents. RTHK on the same night announced names of best top 10 singers, included were Joey, Haken, Leo, Justin Lo, Eason, Mirium, Hins, Andy Lau & Ivana who entered for the first time.

With stage name Andox , Hei Zai (Box), the two were born in Gansu Dunhuang in 2007. Big brother Andox is Taurus, is quieter, child-like, while younger brother Box who is Cancer is bigger in size than Andox, likes to show off his talent, play cool & is narcissistic.

The set of Future Cops were location shoot in BJ ... shoping mall next to 'Happy Valley' yesterday. Director Wong Jing & action director Chen Xiao Dong collaborated in controlling 5 cameras.

From different angles filming was done on the kidnap of Andy's daughter Xu Qiao, Big S attempted to rescue her, Andy from an ordinary self transformed to a 'super human' flying into the air to subdue the bad.

A professional Andy did not complain at all shooting in the cold. A gun-toting Big S looked suave, but the director did not let her open fire, though how much she wished to have a chance.

According to the chief panel of judges, the selection this year expended to included famous hosts & directors , a total of 700 artistes were included in the first round.

The temperature in BJ was below 5 degree yesterday, Andy, Fan Bing Bing & Xu Qiao were shooting @ Chi Zhuan studio in BJ in a blissful family scene. Andy who was all wrapped up was to have his upper chest exposed as arranged, while Fang Bing Bing was to be in a body-hugging pyjama. But during shooting, the two were all covered, accordingly, it was Andy who treasures his bod too much, he refused to expose his chest, but when faced with reporters, he quipped,

"I don't know, it was Fang Bing Bing who refused to take off, so the director asked me to put my clothes on."

Haha.

For this scene, Andy, Fan Bing Bing & Wang Jing 'negotiated' in the nanny car for half an hour, when Fang appeared she was in a big bath robe & had her small leg exposed unwillingly, Andy also did not bare his upper torso, he quipped there is limitations in filming, it is impossible for him to be seen in only underwear.

Metro Hit Music Awards was held last night @ Asia World Expo. 137 awards were given out. Eason & Joey both had 5 awards each & led the pack.

Andy Lau despite being absent won 3 awards. All the rest who attended had awards, it was a happy occasion. Boycotting the ceremony for the second year, Gold Medal singers again have zero awards.

Andy who is now in BJ had recorded a video clip to thank the organizer. He won Commercial Song, Stage Grand Award & Hit Singer 3 awards.

There are 10 vice presidents, one more than previous years, including ......, while Zhang Han Yu, Zhang Feng Yi, Andy Lau, Peter Chan, Jia Zhang He, Li Bing Bing & others are in the committee.

It is year of Ox next year, Andy who is nick-named Ox Hua was invited by the world-famous 'Public Artistic Creation Demonstration Cow¡¯s Parade' activity, becoming the first artiste ever to be picked to participate in the 2009 Taipei Cow Festival Artistic Creation.

Andy integrated his 2 lovely sons Andox & Hei Zai in the design, in creating the one & only ox, the work will be first shown to the public at the Taipei float parade on the Xmas evening.

In the coming year, Andy hopes for a change in fate, the financial crisis will be over soon & the market recovers.

His 2 sons have become widely popular since after their birth. As head of the Ox family Andy was the first artiste to be invited in this activity. Andy indicated he received the invitation since November, the OX was sent by air to HK for his to design.

No matter how busy he was, how late it was, he whole-heartedly involved in creating the ox.

Said, "This activity is celebrating its 10th anniversary, 2009 happens to be Year of The Ox, I am honored to be invited to participate in its designing activity, the organizer gave me such a big ox for designing, allowing me to design my very own artistic creation ox, perhaps they have witnessed the 2 sons I had single-handed created, they may have special liking for my design. I should not thus take it lightly, no matter how busy I was I simply could not hold back my creative thoughts, it flew like waves, I put in whole effort to complete it, though it was a little rush, it is in tandem with the theme of the activity, 'Rushing Ox Festival'.

Andy uses 40,000 over circles or dots to construct a graph on the whole cow, such that in one's mind it looks 3 dimensional, from the 2 sides one can feel the different views of Andox & Hei Zai. The distance between the dots have to be carefully pasted, to bring out the whole image.

There is only one ox, if he fails he has no second chance, so he had to open his eyes widely & concentrated in the work.

Talking on the creating process , he said, "The toughest & most interesting part is during spraying of the paint, I was worried that it would affect the staff in their work. During spraying of the white paint & protective coat, the work place became a sea of white, my face has only the masked area left non-white. I felt funny when I lied down at the ox's belly & breasts pasting the dots, after pasting when I got up, all I saw were black dots."

Andy narrated on the concept of the creation, said, "I have much affinity with ox, I was born in year of ox, my first toy creation was an ox, I take the 2 creations by me just like my own son. This time in the creation, I take myself as a big ox, use my limited 'points' I fantasize having my 2 sons on it, with sounds like 'ben' ( rush), rushing to Taipei, to be in the Rushing Ox Festival. This is a charity activity, we presented our little contribution. "

Andy is especially delighted in participating this activity, as he has always like to draw all these years.

Said, "The thing I wish to learn the most these 2 years is drawing, the moment I have time I read books on artistic creation & drawing. No matter which style I too wish to try, I hope to have time to get a teacher & have proper coaching.

The second report on persons with the most outstanding ability & commercial value in China is out today. Andy Lau surpassed 700 celebrities including Jay Chou, Jacky Chan, Jet Li, Zhang Ziyi to become the 'most valuable star'

The report was co-organized by World Media, The Chinese Human Rights Development Foundation, the Chinese Consumer Investigation Bureau & other entrusting network, with the support of Sina entertainment, the most authoritative & professional organization to jointly announced the results.

According to the introduction, this is the first time in mainland that uses the artistes public reputation, public confidence level, public expectation as standards, not like before using income & popularity to judge, it fully complies public satisfaction with image of a person to gauge the commercial value in listing them.

From the survey, the results shows that Andy Lau with a high mark of 92.47 is top on the list, becoming the most valuable commercially among 700 famous artistes, beating second on the list Jay Chou who has 91.19 marks, Jacky Chan 89.76, & Jet Li who has 89.21. Follow closely behind are Zhang Ziyi, Zhao Wei, Chen Dao Ming, Leon Lai, Shun Hong Lei.

From 10 to 20 are Maggie Cheung, Zhang han Yu, Huang Xiao Ming, Su You Peng, Zhang Yimou, Chen kun, Zhou Xun, Ge You,.....& others.

The spokesman indicated personal income of the star directly reflects his performance, popularity & his wealth. This report however gives better estimate of the information, it is based on blue prints from 379879 research work. It covers almost the whole country.

After the list was out, it initiates reactions like shock, surprises & others. Some reviews commented too often a person income is used to judge nowadays, such as not long ago Jay Chou with income of NT 703 million tops a list , was named a legend in gold-sucking, while Jet Li in Forbes list with 0.24 million income was the highest.

Andy Lau was honored with most popular Asia-Pacific singer award. Mirium received Versatile Cutting-edge Singer award. Guang Laing with one song won 3 awards. All the singers were happy, none went home empty-handed.

The never changing Andy Lau keeps his charm, perfect in song & dance, every single song during the concert kept all the audience HIGH throughout!

Andy Lau Wonderful World Concert Tour came to Singapore and indeed lived up to its name! Andy's concert, as expected, left no empty seats! Even before the concert started, the fans were already HIGH and all ready to celebrate with their dearest idol! This concert was a real eye-opener for us to see Andy's charm & beauty and his heavenly talent!

Andy sang many beautiful songs in the concert, there were golden tunes to which everyone remembered well including , , and many more,. There were also many fast tracked lively songs. Many surprises throughout the concert and the fans were very compatible, cheers, shouts, applause were neverending, these kept the concert atmosphere HIGH all the way! One scene which was so memorable to me (even till now it replays in my mind) was the part when Andy sang , Andy put down his mic and all the fans just sang aloud the song! What a touching scene, it really pulled at one's heartstrings!

Andy performed many different acts in the concerts. Besides singing, many songs were accompanied by drama scenes, it was just like a musical play. These included songs such as , and more. We enjoyed his singing talent as well as his acting talent which was so rich and natural. The facial & body expressions more than expressed the feel of the songs! Andy not only sang touching Mandarin & Cantonese songs, he also presented HOT dance moves. He shook alongside his fans and was so connected with them! In addition, Andy's performance also went very well with the stage effects. The fans not only enjoyed listening but also visual satisfaction.

Although this was a concert, Andy did not forget that he entered showbiz through acting. In the concert, Andy belted out a few theme songs of the movies he acted in, one of which was which had accompanied many fans who had loved him from the time of acting till today, bringing back fond memories. On the 2 big screens on the sides of the stage, displayed scenes from the movie, we could once again see the young & dashing Andy. Fans couldn't stop cheering & screaming in their excitement.

Andy was in his usual self and communicated with the fans in his relaxed, jovial & teasing style. There was no self-pride nor "big star patterns" in his attitude and he conversed with such close-up feel. In the concert, he mentioned about marriage and having children and even asked if stars are allowed to get married and have children. The response was a loud "YES!" which certainly made Andy very happy. The fans' passionate response made him very touched and towards the end of the concert, Andy said "Looking at your actions, I have no other choice, just one sentence for you I LOVE U." In this concert, not only have I seen a beautiful stage, wonderful dance moves & touching ballads, I have also seen for myself, one who is very serious, diligent and wholeheartedly putting in his effort into his career - ANDY LAU. During his communication with the fans, Andy said a sentence which I will never forget. This was what he said after singing . He said someone ever laughed at him for being silly to enter into showbiz, however today he has earned everyone's applause. As long as you put in effort, everyone will come to love you, and be able to earn everyone's applause. This saying is so meaningful, I'm sure it has encouraged many young fans who were present, to pursue their dreams just like Andy did!

During the encore section, Andy in order to thank all the audience for their support and warm response, he danced and sang many touching love songs, including the very meaningful <17 years old> which tells about him entering showbiz at age 17, and and many more. The audience was immersed in the concert indeed.

Andy's diligent performance and the fans' heartfelt response have made this 2008 Wonderful World Tour concert a great success! I believe every single audience who was present that evening is just like me now - I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH ANDY ONCE AGAIN!
