At the wax museum yesterday Andy changed a new suit for his wax figure, as the wax figure did not have the moustache pasted & no head gear he was not able to change it to the screen costume. Li Bing Bing accompanied her wax figure from the museum in Shanghai, she specially chose an evening gown she wore in 2007 , the first time when she was honored with a grand award.

At the opening ceremony, the organizer arranged two kids to dress up like Andy & Bing Bing in the movie & showcased some martial art moves.

Andy never thought after 20 to 30 years in the circle he then had a chance to work with Tsui Hark, Actually Tsui Hark had tried to get him to film the movie Green Snake, but he did not wish to film period movie & turned him down. When Tsui Hark told him he was filming a 007 movie this time, never had he thought it is again a period movie.

Andy has some fighting scenes in this movie, he jested, "To a youngster like me there is no problem.¡± Andy revealed the embarrassing things about Bing Bing, said that she always remember her moves wrongly, when he wanted to avoid the sword by moving to the left, Bign Bign pointed the sword at him on the left, when he moved to the right, she pointed to the right. As such he was hit on the face twice, Bing Bing apologized & said it was unintentional. Andy teased that since then whenever she practiced with sword, he would leapt far far away & reminded all to avoid her.

Andy will set off tomorrow to Venice & stay for 5 days. He takes it easy on the contest for Best Actor, rather he feels anxious for Tsui Hark.

On his collaboration with Gong Li, is there any spark between them? Andy said he wont dare, she is a heavy-weight actress, she has her own attraction.

Andy said he likes to be called Hua Zai & it is not disparaging.

Andy & Li Bing Bing played lead roles in Detective Dee & The Mystery of the Phantom Flame.

Li Bing Bing under the instruction of Empress Wu was to investigate a case. While doing this she tried to use her beauty to seduce Andy, Andy revealed that he had no good fortune to enjoy the seduction. Bing Bing said her extent of exposure was much more than in her previous movie, The Message. They had requested the site be clear of people, even then 20 over people were still around busy with work, ignorant of their feelings.

Said Andy, "I thought it was for her to get into the mood, never thought I too had to strip, at that time my body was not perfect." Teased Li Bing Bing, "So the one who asked to clear the place is not me, but Andy'± She added she prefers to have love scenes with Andy than to fight with him, she hopes to act in a movie such as Reach Out For Stars to have a different experience.

In circle 20 over years, this is Andy's first collaboration with Tsui Hark, said Andy, "When Tsui Hark looked at the set of horns at the roof of the temple, he imagined I had a fight with the deer, the enxt day he arranged for this to be included.¡±

Andy disclosed that in the character he had declined his eyebrows to be shaved said, "I played a lady in Runnign Out of Time before, Johnnie To asked me to shave my eyebrows, after that the eyebrows did not grow back, so I refused this time. He asked me to try drawing thick brows, it was not used at all, lucking I did not shave, if he disliked my shaved brows what am I going to do"

Andy has filmed too many movies, he has forgotten how long he has not worked with Carina. This time they had many interactions. On Carina playing a Wu Zetian with a complex character, Andy said appreciatively, "She had gone through many life experiences. It is hard to imagine she can see through life so thoroughly, she can let go herself to play Wu Zetain well, she did not play a big role, but it is all understood, she can completely immersed herself in the role. On his collaboration with Tsui Hark said Andy, "Since I entered this circle as a backdrop actor I have heard of Tsui Hark's big name, but I did not do that well then, I had no chance to work with him, also, I don't like to act in period movies. This time I was tricked into it by Tsui Hark, he told me there was a movie that resembled 007, I told him 'Good' & I will act, then only he said it was a period movie." Andy praised that Tsui Hark lives in world of reality, he sees clearly our worldly issues, but he fantasies far & wide. Andy's character in the movie is representative of Tsui Hark. Li Bing Bing indicated that before she worked with Tsui Hark she was rather apprehensive, as she heard that he has a bad temper, but after working with him she realized he does not throw temper, in the 3 months he has never gotten angry, he is truly a very serious director, to an extreme, but he has never scolded anyone. Once he raised his voice to a worker, he came quietly to tell her, "I am just scaring him."

Li Bing Bing who had worked with Andy before said this collaboration is even more cordial, they not only have sparks, they have 'fireworks', he praised that Andy is professional, he is suave especially in fighting. Andy revealed that Li Bing Bign is serious worker with training. Together with Tsui Hark, Carina, Deng Zhao they will attend the premiere in Venice.

Detective Dee & The Mystery of Phantom Flame featuring Carina Lau & Andy Lau is the only Chinese movie participating @ the upcoming Venice Film Festival, other than main actors & director Tsui Hark who are attending, the movie company is bringing the emperess gown worn by Carina Lau for exhibition, they will at the same time hold a party with Tang dynasty as theme.

The 67th Venice F F opens day after tomorrow HK time in Italy, Li Bing Bing, Michelle Yeoh, Shawn Yu, Elanne Kwang, Donnie Yen, Carina Lau, Andy & others including Tsui Hark will attend. Other than Fist of Furt- The Legend of Chen Zhen & Child's Eye which will be premiered, Tsui Hark's Detective Dee is the only participating movie vying for the highest Golden Lion award.

Carina Lau's screen look of heavy head gear, bleached eyebrows & empress gown leaves a deep impression. She has 50 sets of costumes in this movie, costing a hefty million over rmb. But behind this glamour, Carina had to bear the discomfort under the heat wearing these gowns. Tsui Hark has specially bought insurance for one of the gowns as it is a treasure costing a lot of money.

50 sets of costumes for the movie were exposed for the first time, Carina who played Empress Wu Ze Tian has one set of fully gold plated armor suit, which costs 500,000 Yuan (approximatately NT $2.35 million), indeed glamorous & startling.

In addition to her queer looking block-shaped eyebrows with thin straight lines slanting upwards & outwards that are really unusual, released few days ago, more sets of costumes were made public, a set of armour made of gold foil, took 5 weeks of hand sewing to complete, it was magnificient, She had another set made with fur of the fox, cumulating charm of a female, in addition there were costumes that bring out the masculine capability of a male.

Said Tsui Hark, "Using today's taste to view Tang Dynasty which is a few thousand years ago will unavoidably be misleading, the murals showed unique looks, they really made one doubts its beauty but really few thousand years ago the people were like that, using body to exhibit the beauty, through the screen, we hope it will shows the reality & esthetics"

Carina also feels the costume should have sense of reality & quality, it can then unfold the impressive & imposing strength of an emperor.

Andy who is presently filming I Know Women's Heart in BJ with Gong Li will be 49 this September, though he always keeps fit to look good externally, he cannot avoid being long-sighted.

3 weeks ago, he made a private visit back to HK, under the treatment of famous ophthalmologist Lam Shun Chao he had his long-sightedness treated, Soon after his surgery, he went back to work immediately. He will not be blurry when he reads the script from now!

"Using laser to treat presbyopia is a recent new technique, this method has not been popularized yet, I feel that Andy is very brave, he does not wait till the technique is more stabilized before he jumped in. Bue he is confident, he feels there is risk to every surgery. Long-sightedness is very inconvient he does not wished to wait longer . said someone close to him.

In the early 1998, Andy had received treatment for his short-sightedness & astigmatism, he was also one of the earlier batches of patients. With the previous experience, he is not at all nervous, a day before surgery, he was filming, he went back to HK on the day of surgery.

Carina Lau's screen look in Detective is out. The writer is shocked to see her weird eyebrows, when she laughed her double-chin was very obvious. It was said she had bleached her eyebrows for 2 months so as to suit her constant change in look.

Her costume weighed 10 over kgs, under temp of 42 deg Andy was all sweaty yet her had not a single drop of sweat in her . This, to the writer is just too mysterious. She revealed to Andy she used her will power to contrl the sweating.

In Detective Dee, Carina Lau's who played Empress Wu Ze Tian came armed with several sets of costumes that costs many thousands of dollars.

There was a scene at an arny training session when she met Di Ren Jie after a long period of his absence. Yu Jia An, the costume designer, in portraying Wu Ze Tian's prowess & power, designed costumes weighing several kgs, on top of heavy head gear weighing another few kilos.

Carina did not complained at all,whenever she finished a take she just sat quietly by the side, using her calm to counter the heat.

Even Andy showed her the respect, said, "At temp of 42, I was so hot that I was wet through. Whenever I was not shooting I hid in the air con room, but she sat quietly by a corner at the studio, she told me when the heart is calm coolness comes automatically. I really respect her attitude."

Tsui Hark had referred to many paintings on the wall of ancient ladies, the ladies in Tang dynasty from Dunhuang. He discovered that they all drew their eyebrows in blocks. He had a long thought with Yu Jia An how they could achieve this without shaving the eyebrows, Carina actively suggested bleaching the eyebrows then drew it as square.

Tsui Hark feels that Carina playing Wu Ze Tian is a good choice, she is unique, she is able to instil imagination, he gave her 3 charcters, capable, swift, full of charm of a lady, & similar to power- lady of the present day.

Metro Broadcast 20th anniversary was celebrated with a musical on Aug 22 @ the Exhibition Hall @ Causeway Bay. Andy, Mirium, Andy Hui, Denise Ho, Joey, Leo Ku & other singers were guest performers.

Andy who had been absent from HK music circle for a while led the show to a cliimax when he sang at curtain closing, esp when he sang Pretend. Together with the valley-chested female dancer they had a sizzling dance, the temp rose to boiling high. Andy Hui on the other hand looked haggard, being embroiled with a series of negative news, he refused to be interviewed.

At curtain closing, Andy sang Pretend. The most exciting part was when he put his head on the dancer's bust, it brought a lot of high pitched cat calls, the duo caressed & hugged, including touching the important parts. The dancer with hand in the air swept body of Andy from the chest to the most sensitive part, enacted a 3rd category show of seduction.

Andy ended the show with a song 'Embrace The World, Show Concern to Future' to congratulate Metro station, he teased that Metro has to embrace him, & look after his futire!

On his head being close to the dancer bust, Andy said this is the matter of angle, he just put his head close by, these actions & costumes were used by the dancers before in his concerts.

When asked in his Dec concert, will he put his head in between the dancer's breasts? He laughed, "Never thought of this, (will the costume be more sexy?) If it is more sexy it will be wearing nothing"

After his shooting, he will go to Venice next month, he plans to release an album in October, & start practicing his concert in Dec. He will join other East Asia singers to attend SH Expo.

Andy said he did not see Andy Hiui at the backstage, he said he does not pay attention to his relationship with Sammi, but he knows what happens, (Will he shows concern to Sammi?) I show concern even if there is no such thing. They are adults, they know how to handle & let go, the media has to quite down first before they can be better."

The song to be sung by singers of East Asia 'Flying High In The Years' will be released next week in mainland China. The song with a high spirited melody, is sang by 12 singers including Sammi Cheng, Andy Lau, Richie Ren, Mirium, Andy Hui, Denise Ho, Ivana, Wei Lan, Shawn Yu, Li Ji Teng, Farmer ,11 singers from HK, the 12th singer is a mysterious guest from China.

According to the record company, the song will be a heavy-weight performance at the Shanghai Expo closing ceremony, as its theme song. This is also the first creation of theme song belonging entirely to East Asia.

In the recent MV recording, frames in alternating positions were used as design, 12 singers will enter the studio one by one to do the recording.

Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom instilled a new element of fantasy coupled with romance in the pugilistic world.

This time, the scene that makes one pay the most attention is where Di Renjie led the team to a place where they found the key clue to the mysterious case of self-incineration, the Ghost Town.

When asked those on & off screen who finds Ghost Town most unforgettable, he must be Sammo Hung. The set had at a tourist spot in Lishui Jinyun discovered a man-made cave named Shui Lian Cave (Water Curtain Cave) to shoot the scenes. 2000 tons of water was pumped in to create a canal.

Said Sammo, "The condition in the cave was so bad, a step in the ca na l was like taking 5 steps on the ground. The water was so chilly to the spine, the unbearable water pressure, fierce mosquitoes that kept biting me, workers one after another fell into the water, it was so very dangerous. Many of them worked through the night, many fell ill, only I was ok."

Li Bing Bing during filming developed spontaneous pneumothorax, almost threatening her life. During filming at the Ghost Town, there was a scene about her breaking through the door, she had to keep hitting the door with her weapon, a leather whip. She tried many times before the take, at one time the broken wood hit her directly on her face. She did not made a whine, immediately she asked all the people if she hit well, & if she looked alright on the screen, a damsel did not complain a single word, director, Andy & Sammo all take their hats off her.

Detective Dee The Mystery of the Phantom will be out Sept 30 during golden National Day holiday slot. Andy other than having tough fight at the Ghost Town on the big screen will face off with other big movies including Donnie Yen’s Fist of Fury: The Legend of Chen Zhen, & mainland Best Actor Wang Xueqi's Reign of Assassins . The 3 movies will fight from HK to mainland, meeting Zhang Yimou’s The Love of Hawthorn Tree.

Detective Dee is the only Chinese movie nominated at the 67th Venice Film Festival.

2000 tons of water was pumped in to create a c an al, the actors had to sit rubber dinghys or waded in water. To ease the work of the crew, Andy actively waded in the water, as many had fallen or dropped their cell phones into the water, they reminded him to be careful so as not to step on uneven ground, Andy joked that the c an al was just like a forever-changing animated figure, one had to jump here & there to avoid the obstacles. Andy is used to filming action movies, the scene when he had to kick enemy in mid air was over with just one take, it was smooth sailing.

Li Bing Bing who had pneumothorax, said, "There were too many fighting scenes, my body was not able to take it." After getting treatment at the hospital & rested for only a night she was back to work.

Li Bing Bing holding a leather whip flew up during a fighting scene, indeed agile.

Filming is smooth-going for 'I Know What Women Want' . Most of the parts were completed. Actress Yuan Li has joined the set to play her role with Gong Li & Andy.

To win back Andy's love from Gong Li, Yuan Li changed from being a woman in power to one who cries, all her antics is bound to make audience gasp with amazement.

Yuan Li played a lovelorn coffee girl Yuan Ne, caught in a love triangle with Andy & Gong Li. To get Andy's attention, she actively threw seductive glances at him, even offered herself to him & had a one-night-stand with him, despite all her efforts she failed to make Andy from having a change of heart.

In this movie she plays a rich ex wife of Andy. Said, "The role I played appeared to be materialistic, in actual fact everyone has own preference in life, her attitude is she loves Andy, but he is not suited to marriage, at least being tied down by her."

She asked for zero fee as to her, after marrying a tycoon in Malaysia, she has no worries with money, acting is just for interest. She will rather choose the role she likes, being able to act opposite Andy, in addition, the director Chen Da Ming is her long time good friend, she thus does not mind the fee.

This is her third time she collaborated with Andy, after her graduation from movie academy, she ever signed up with Teamwork, she has benefitted a lot from Andy.

WHITE-HAIRED DENG ZHAO IN DETECTIVE DEE

Detective Dee will be out on Sept 29. The role played by Deng Zhao, be it in look & character, is a breakthrough creation of director Tsui Hark. The role is a big challenge for Deng Zhao, who hopes audience can have the most excitement in watching.

After its Chinese New Year movie, 72 Tenants of Prosperity, won both in reviews & box office, Shaw Brothers movie company continues to film another movie during the summer holidays. Four popular idols, Raymond Lam, Charlene Choi, Joey & Wong Cho Lam were roped in to film 'The Emerald & The Pearl'.

In the movie, Ah Sa & Raymond were lovers. They had some kissing scenes. When Ah Sa was asked if Raymond is a good kissing partner, looking at Raymond beside her, she smiled & said, "In front of him of course I have to say good!” Raymond Wong on seeing she answered so reluctantly, retorted, "Sure good!”

In a previous interview, Ah Sa had said among all the partners, Andy is the best in kissing, if she were to choose between Raymond & Andy, Ah Sa replied, "If I can only choose one, of course Andy is the best! "

The funeral of Dai Si Cong, named god-father of music took place yesterday. Kevin Cheng rumored to be not on good terms with Dai was absent, but he sent a wreath addressed to 'Respectable Teacher Dai.'

Andy who was absent in his f-i-l funeral was with Dai’s widow all the time. They took one of the three buses to the crematory, with Andy holding her hands.

DAI SI CONG FUNERAL THIS MORNING ANDY ATTENDED AS PALLBEARER

Famous music teacher Dai Si Cong who passed away on July 18 held a wake at HK Funeral Parlor on August 3. On August 4 his 2 daughters & god-son were at the parlor since 8 in the morning, followed by Daniel Chan, Hung Yan, Kent Tong, Lui Fong, Elvina Kong & others.

At around 10:24, Andy appeared accompanied by his workers, he walked directly into the parlor, he caused quite a stir when the reporters went forward to interview & take his photos. He went to the first floor to look into the matter regarding the funeral.

GONG LI LURED ANDY WITH BIG BUST

Though rumor of her divorce was incessant, Gong Li has however never given a response, she is presently busy filming I Know Women Heart in BJ.

There was a scene she acted opposite Andy, the two were seen chatting in a bar. The crew took the scene from a bar at San Li Tun . Gong Li was dressed a low-cut tight-fitting dress, showing off her assets fully, luckily Andy is used to seeing great sight, he was able to concentrate in acting.

Before the take, the two of them had a relaxing moment at the rest room. The collaboration is cordial, after scenes were taken at the bar, they shifted to a cinema for more shooting.

The story was about Gong Li having failed her business was thinking of venturing in Shanghai, but Andy who had developed feelings for her hoped to keep her by his side.

The memorial notes of the students of deceased music teacher Dai Sicong were exposed. Andy using a phrase "Teaching, Coming From The Heart" make it into a short poem to remember his teacher.

Other than writing memorial note, Faye Wong used mp3 to record her chanting of Heart Sutra for her teacher, she reminded Dai's daughter to put at the front of the bed or piano & play it day & night, she chanted for her teacher at home too, indeed a very thoughtful person.

TSUI HARK BACK TO THE LINE AFTER A LAPSE OF 5 YEARS

Recently a poster for Detective Dee specially for Korea was released. Tsui hark has quite a lot of flowers in Korea, from his previous period movies.

The 67th Venice Film Festival is one of the 3 large film fests in Europe, held in Venice, Italy, it is scheduled to take place from September 1, 2010 to 11 September 2010. American film director Quentin Tarantino has been announced as the head of the jury.

A total of 22 films were nominated, results announced yesterday evening HK time. John Woo was awarded the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement prior to the festival starting. The opening film will be Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan.

Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen is nominated for Films out of competition

The list of movies nominated for the 67th Venice Film Festival was out, Detective Dee is the only Chinese movie selected. Leads Andy Lau, Li Bing Bing, Carina Lau & Deng Zhao got the news while they were working, they were all very excited with it.

The movie is confirmed to hit the big screen country-wide September 29.

Venice Film Fest examines committee previewed dozens of movies from China, Taiwan & HK, among which were great works of famous directors. It caused much media speculation before the result was officially released.

Detective Dee stands out the most & was nominated. This shows the special favor the committee has for the movie & the weight puts on it.

Andy indicated he feels very happy for Tsui Hark, as Tsui Hark had crafted the character of Detective Dee with him. To be nominated is a recognition on the work, he is prepared to fly to Venice for the occasion.

Li Bing Bing congratulated the movie's nomination, 10 years ago a movie acted by her won Best Director award, 10 years on, it is agin another surprise, it feels just like a pact for her, said, "Perhaps this is 10 year destiny with Venice. This is not only our pride, it is the pride of Chinese movie makers. "

Carina Lau indicated she is happy that Tsui Harkfs work is nominated, she has been to Venice, & has deep impression on the city, she is loking forward to visit the beautiful water city again.

Deng Zhao: This is the firs time he has movie nominated in 3 international F F, said, gOf course congratulate the movie being nominated, it is the first time my movie is nominated at Venice F F. The movie was invested at more than 100 million, from calculation, the trailer costs 800K, it can be said to be the most expensive in the history.

ALL THE 11 MOVIES FOR LUNAR NEW YEAR ARE eFRYING COLD RICEf

The 2 movies screened during CNY early this year were 72 Tenants of Prosperity by Shaw Brothers, Allfs Well Ends Well 2010 by Raymond Wong, they had a tought fight. The two companies will continue with the fight in the upcoming CNY, both will make sequels of the 2 movies

At the same time, there will be a sequel of Hot Summer Days by Angelababy, The New God Of Cookery by Ronald Cheng, & The Incredibles by Louis Koo, New Shaolin Temple, & adaptation of What Women Want by Andy & others.

Looking at these movies, it is either a sequel or adaptations, indeed efrying cold ricef for the Chinese new year.

Raymondfs Wongfs movie Allfs Well Ends Well sold well in 2009, this year Shawfs 72 Tenants collected more than 30 million was the winner. The two companies have confirmed to film movies for the new year again, Raymond will have a sequel of Allfs Well Ends Well 2011, played by Louis koo. In other words, Louis will have 2 new year movies, the other one being The Incredibles with Sandra Ng. Shaw is launching 72 Tenants 2, again to be produced by Eric Tseng.

The remake of old movies shows a completed lack of creativity.

Andyfs will have two movies up for the new year, box office for his previous movie Future X Cops was not satisfactory, see if the 2 new movies can bring back the audience. New Shaolin Temple & What Women Want will be out middle of January 2011.

BENNY CHEN MEETS ANDY IN WOMENfS HEART

Benny Chen is the only other male lead in the new movie, he has many scenes acting opposite Andy.

Benny was a member of the now defunct boy group Small Tiger, which was very popular in the 90s, at the time when the 4 Heavenly Kings soared to stardom. Andy & Benny were once leading idols in the entertainment circle. Though they had met in many variety shows, this is the first time they collaborated in a movie.

Recently the reporter spotted Andy coming out from a clothing shop. From the sho**eepers he learnt that Andy just went in without taking a close look & did not buy anything. He left swiftly. It seemed like he was not there to buy things.

Gong Li avoids questions on divorce

How long can Gong Li avoid the question?

Gong Li was in Beijing yesterday to promote new movie Wo Zhi Nv Ren Xin (adaptation of the Hollywood movie, What Women Want).

Male lead Andy Lau was present at the press conference and both stars appeared to be very close even though this is their first collaboration.

Andy revealed that while he was initially reserved towards Gong Li, he opened up to her after realizing that she was very approachable.

"At first I called her Gong Li-jie(respectful way of addressing someone more experienced); but after working with her I realize she is a fun and friendly person."

As if already anticipating the questions pertaining to her recent divorce, the visibly thinner Gong Li appeared wary, though she kept smiling throughout.

When reporters finally broke the silence on the topic and asked for her comments regarding the divorce, the host immediately interrupted and Gong Li played deaf, asking, "What did she say? I didn't hear it".

Even Andy, who was beside her at that time, raised his hand to signal the media to not probe on the matter again.

According to reports, the production crew of Wo Zhi Nv Ren Xin had prevented reporters from visiting the set during filming as Gong Li was already badly affected by the divorce.

The situation that happened during the press conference was exactly what they were trying to prevent.

In Wo Zhi Nv Ren Xin, Gong Li plays a successfully career woman; when reporters asked Gong Li if being a strong-minded woman affects one's marriage, Gong Li's replied that she wished that she could find someone in real life who can read her mind.

Hong Kong music godfather Dai Si Cong after 30 hours of resuscitation in HK hospital passed away peacefully yesterday at the age of 69, he died of acute coronary artery disease. His elder daughter Dai Yun Hui announced the news yesterday morning. His family members & disciples will hold a memorial service later. Dai Sicong has many students in his whole life time, had made famous many singers. His 2 daughters, however though had released albums, stardom was just average. It was the first time Gong Li made a public appearance after news of her divorce was out. The movie organizer tried hard to forbid the media from asking her questions on the matter. Even then, the reporter asked if her image of a strong women in the movie affected her, she replied that as successful woman it was only external, in actual fact, a women's heart is very fragile.

Though it is the first collaboration, Andy & Gong Li appeared to get along well. Gong Li praised that Andy is playful, always makes people laugh, said, "Though this is the first time working with Andy, he is indeed clever, always makes people laugh nonstop. Chen Zhi Ming revealed that in this movie, Andy has many methods of wooing girls that is worth learning for the men, Andy said his methods is just 2 words, 'Sincerity'.

For 3 years Andy has not held concert, he will in Dec this year. Since after his secret marriage was exposed, his popularity is not like before. He has planned to hold concerts striking across the new year at the year end, & has booked Coliseum for 20 over days & plans to hold at least 20 shows.

The questionnaire asked fans to state clearly how many tickets they will buy, but stressed that it is only for reference purposes.

Andy has spent most of his time filming in mainland China this year. Though not in HK, he has secretly planned for his concerts. Every month he will meet the fans club committee, he wants to know the response. Previously he has no worries if tickets will sell, he only worried if tickets were enough to give out, but he is not as confident nowadays, he asked his fans to fill up a survey form, to predict how internal booking is first before he decides on the sale of concert tickets & to see how many shows to hold for the first round.

He is yet to decide to hold 10 or 15 shows, previously he would one shot put up 15 shows, the tickets would be a sold out on the first day, however, he being a Heavenly King, if the ticket sale goes slow, it will affect the whole show, thus he makes a survey first!

Future X Cops collected a mere HK $ 3 over million.

According to the manager of Hu Jing, who has just returned from maternity leave, Hu Jing has joined the set of What Women Want recently. She acts as wife of Andy in the movie.

In this movie, Andy plays the role of a high ranking staff of an advertising company, in an accident, by chance he developed an ability that can read the hearts (mind) of women.

Hu Jing was once under Andy's company Teamwork after her graduation, they had ever filmed a commercial together.

The movie will be screened next year on Valentine's Day.

Last year, China Film Groups had gathered a total of 172 big stars in filming of the historical epicc, The Building of A Nation. The box office was record breaking, it grossed at more than 400 millions rmb. The movie company is riding on the heat wave to film a new movie called The Building of a Party in BJ next month.

The lineup is again star glitterati, other than Zhang Guo Li, Tang Guo Qiang, Chow Yin Fatt who will play Yuan Shi Kai, Andy Lau as Cai E & Zhou Xun as Xiao Feng Xuan.

Filming will start next month, mainland big stars like Feng Xiao Gang, Jiang Wen, Zhang Ziyi, Chen Dao Ming Ge You & others are all ready to play a role, most of them do not mind not taking a fee.

Andy's role will be increased in this sequel, not only he has a chance to act opposite Chow Yin Fat, he has a romantic entangle with Zhou Xun. Though his fee has increased to HK$1.8 million, just like the last movie, he will not mind any fee & agrees readily to the role. Choi Si Won, a member of the current popular Korean boy-band Super Junior, revealed his special destiny with the famous HK actor Andy Lau recently as guest of a SBS TV programme.

Said Choi Si won, "In 2005 I got to know Andy Lau during filming of A Battle of Wits. Acting as a price, I wore a total of 9 costumes on me. Once, under the heat of 40 degree, I felt faint suddenly & almost fell from a height, below me were rows of soldiers with long spears. It was a critical moment. Luckily Andy was standing beside me, he pulled me to safety, this stopped a tragedy from happening. He even asked me coolly, 'Are you alright?'"

ANDY, CHOW YIN FAT VYING TO PLAY QIAN XUESEN

Qian Xuesen, nick-named 'Father of China Rockets', passed away end of last year. A movie company in mainland hopes to put his legacy on the big screen. Andy Lau, Chow Yin Fat & mainland actor Pu Cun Xin may be able to play the role.

Recently Chinese People's Liberation Army General Equipment Department has reached an agreement with the movie company, the movir is to be invested with 60 million rmb. It will be different from the main stream documentary movie, they will not shun away from using big names in selection.

As for female lead both Zhang Ziyi & Song Chu Ying have both expressed interest. The first astronaut in China Yang Li Wei has also confirmed to play a role.

Andy has been busy shooting his new movie in BJ lately. Days ago he was filming opposite mainland actress, Hu Jing, who plays his screen wife. Andy played the role of a manager of an advertisement company. He assumed the look of an office executive, complete with a pair of glasses. The story is about the couple who divorced after a tiff, but in actual fact Andy is still deeply in love with the lady. They were filming scenes when they were in love & dating. After filming the two had meals together, chatting & laughing. Both on & off screen they appear to be getting on well.

A news report from mainland revealed that Andy & Hu Jing are actually relatives, Hu Jing's husband, Zhu Chao Xiang, a tycoon in Malaysia, is a relative of Andy's wife, ZLQ. If this is true, Andy & Hu Jing are both family members in work & in private.
