Wang had recently indicated that he intends to invite Andy to act as Ma Jin Jiou, Takeshi Kaneshiro as Lee Teng Hui, & Xiao Qiang as the cool Mrs Ma, Chou Mei Qing.

The director a n alyzed the characters of Chou & Xiao, “One is quiet, experienced, sets a fresh new image, one is knowledgeable, & not only a vase. Both have different approach to the media, but are equally successful.” But he still intends to put it to a vote as to who to act the male & female lead.

As for Xiao Qiang, she said, "We are probably alike in height, she (Chou) is the modern day female, no matter what she is able to handle it coolly." She added Chou likes her puppy a lot, she too likes her doggie. She has to see her time & the script before she commits herself.

After the redevelopment of Hai He in Tianjin, the beauty of the place has attracted much tourists, the site has also become a famous spot for shooting. On March 28 Andy was spotted on the Jin Tang bridge at Hai He for location shoot. The sky was uncooperative & drizzled a little, but Andy still carrid on with work, the process was smooth going.

Albert Yang, Ti Long , Freeze & others came to show support. 50 fans of Andy cheered loudly when Andy appeared.

Andy is delighted that the movie received a favorable response in Korea, Will there be a sequel? He smiled that there is no way to shoot a sequel of Zhao Zilong, even if there is a prequel it will not be him, as in this movie he played from age 20 onwards. The only missing part is his love life.

On the difficulties & happiness during shooting, he teased, "During shooting sand storm was very fierce, I had to use face mask continuously for 2 months, getting a little older is alright, just that if seen by you (the reporters) then it is gone!"

Andy is back to work after a month of holidays, he appeared relaxed, & disclosed that he is negotiating filming of a romantic comedy, he feels that the roles he played recently have been too heavy, he thus wishes to film some relaxing movies. He has filmed period epics continuously a few times, & wants to take a break. He has actually accepted a sino-Japanese collaboration film, as a subordinate of Cheng Chen Gong (a general) but it is again a period movie, he postpones it till June 09.

Andy On too feels it was very tough shooting this movie, he had to wear 5 kg armored costumes, held broad knife & other weapons, this made the body very immobile, after shooting he lost 17 lb, he is yet to win back the lost weight.

MISCHIEVOUS ANDY HAS MANY FACIAL EXPRESSIONS ROTD GAVE HIM QUITE A PRESSURE

ROTD was premiered on Mar 26 evening in HK. Andy was called the 'secret weapon' by the director, in high spirited he made many funny expressions.

On the 100-day countdown, the committee will give out awards to the last 25 songs nominated.

The first batch of songs have been disclosed, including work from Andy Lau, Shun Nan, You Hong Ming, Emil Chou Hua Kin, Wang Feng, Chou Pi Chang, Yu Quan, Joey, Nicholas Tse, Lam Che, Lei Song De, Jacky Cheung & others. These songs with their MVs all have inspiring rhythm & scenes. As to which one can become the world Olympic theme song, it has to be picked from the final 25.

Andy Lau own creation Everyone Is No.1 while inspiring others has an added element of touching the hearts. In the MV, he was an athletic who had won many awards, but lost a leg in an accident. In the MV he had his lower limb wrapped in a bandage. The MV also included true scenes from the Paralympics. Through the MV he inspires more handicapped people to stand up courageously. Also telling everyone that of one is willing, everyone is No.1. Andy who is hero of many has his own heroes, these are the handicapped athletes.

Zhao Zilong (Andy) was one of 5 generals of Liu Bei, nick-named Tiger General, Forever Winning general, good in warfare, lived the longest among the 5 & one of the few heroes who died peacefully, During his aged days, he led the army to a battle, & was trapped, he suddenly asked why must there be war?

Luo Ping An is a character created for the movie, gone through thick & thin with Zhao Zilong. On seeing Zhao Zilong wining battle one after another he was jealous. At the final battle at Feng Mign shan he betrayed Zhao. Through Luo, many inner thoughts of Zhao were revealed.

Guan Yun Chang (Ti Long)---Guang Gong holding green-dragon knife, righteous image is evidently displayed on Ti Long.

Teng Zi (Andy On) –A general from Shu country, was one valued by the aged zhao Zilong, trapped at the same time at Feng Ming Shan

Cao Cao (Liu Song Ren) --- displayed the character of Cao Cao well

Zhu Ge Liang ---Advisor of Shu country, learned & gracious. Played by a mainland artiste, who has a scholarly feel.

ROTD, starring Andy Lau, Sammo & Maggie Q held the first world premiere in Seoul 2 nights ago. The site was packed with 100 over media persons. After screening, media gave high remarks of the movie. In ROTD, M Q & Andy were enemies, but yesterday they were friends, M Q laughed a lot at the interview.

She had to learn how to play pipa as the granddaughter of Cao Cao, she quipped it is the toughest movie she had ever filmed. As she was ignorant with the script & China background, she was worried that she might not be accepted by the Chinese, luckily Sammo taught her martial art, while Daniel taught her Mandarin, she could then overcome the difficulties.

Said, "When shooting began, I was so worried that I had sleepless night, so tired that I cried."

As Zhao Zilong, Andy said he has a lot of pressure, as many people are familiar with the story of Three Kingdoms, he felt that no matter how he acted, he cannot satisfy everybody. He could only try his best.

On meeting The Forbidden Kingdom 2008 head on, he said, "More or less there is some worries, but the 2 movies have entirely different themes, if the other movie beats us in box office it cannot be helped, just like if we beat them."

As for the nude photos, M Q said none of the pictures is she, she does not understand why she was involved, she said the photo taken with Edison before were not in his house, he hopes people can respect & understand the actresses, they are the victims.

Maggie Q who is in Korea for the promo of ROTD was in a tight-fitting skirt, not as se-xy as before. Yesterday Andy Lau & Andy On were @ Tsing Yi shopping city for the movie promotional activity called 'Three Kingdom Resurrection of the Dragon Andy Lau Meeting fans with Wushu.'

As for the absence of the female lead Maggie Q, due to her alleged involvement in the nake photos scandal, Andy did not denied that if he were the boss, he would think what she has done is wrong.

Andy who had not made any public appearance for a long time, attracted a hundred over fans & onlookers. The shopping center was packed to the brim. Andy Lau & Andy On both played games with the fans. In one of the games, 'Get it With One arrow', a male fan twice shot Andy on his abdomen.

Andy had indicated earlier on that he will be taking a 9-month-long leave, but after a month rest he is back to work.

Andy denied that he had said he will rest for 9 months, just that in these 9 months he will be more free, as there is no filming of movie.

Andy's song, Everyone is No.1 has become the charity commercial song for the China D P F. Andy is the ambassador & participated in the shooting of the commercial.

The disabled athletics who acted with him, Song Cheng Tao, had lost his right lower limb below the knee in a rail road accident & had been active in the field 13 years.

Andy teasingly asked Song not to run too fast during filming.

At the start, Andy together with a group of the disabled athletics ran on the field. They came from different countries, this is to bring forth the multi-color atmosphere of Olympics & Paralympics.

10 over years ago Andy had sponsored HK disabled athletics to Paralympics games. If time allows he even went to support personally.

The most unforgettable thing was witnessing the disabled swimmer from China, He Jun Qian, in the Athens games, on recalling, he will still be so moved to tears.

In Sept he will be in BJ for the Paralympics to show his support, he hopes he can form a group with his fans to go along.

He has to use his head to hit the wall to make the turn to continue, I adore him a lot. At the end he got 4 gold medals. When he received his awards, he had to use his head, neck & shoulder to hold them, yet he still smiles so brilliantly."

Whenever Andy narrated how the disabled struggle, his eyes will turn teary. Smiling he said, "I feel that as charity person he can become more good looking."
