Movie starring 4 Best Actors, Infernal Affairs, had its first premiere in Asia in M’sia 2 night ago ! The 2 main leads Andy & Tony arrived in KL .An hour before the premiere, a thousnad over fans swarmed the venue to catch a glimpse of the 2 superstars.

The fans waited patiently & quitely for their arrival. As soon as the 2 stars were brought out by the chairperson, fans turned frenzy & screamed their names at the top of the voice . Barrage of lighta came from all directions , at one moment both couldn’t open their eyes. Andy gave thumb-up to the fans, saying he had never attended such a grand premiere before !

Both of them were in all black outfit, in accordance to their reel characters . In real life, each has his own special charisma, no way each can take away limelight from the other.

But in comaprison, Andy mood was especially high that day, he has many interesting antics, he bit his lips, he gave thumb-up, his gentlemanly dress=up made fans screamed non-stop !

Though Tony talked less, he was as brilliant . When told he could control to laugh or not to laugh , he jested, “I don’t know wor !?

A minute after the premiere, all the posters on the wall were gone, taken by fans !

[ SING PAO ] Boss Peter Lam was also present to render support. The movie was premiere at a cinema that can accommodate close to 10,000 audience.

Their presence was like emperor out on patrol, standing at a balcony waving to tens of thousands. They threw tall hats at each other, saying the movie would be incomplete without any one of them.

2 nights ago Andy held a U Are My Pridee concert. Thogh it was a free concert to treat his fans, he did not stinge on the production cost, the cost was far exceeding the rumored a million. It was estimated to be more than 3 mil. No wonder he thanked big boss Peter Lam for the suport at the end of the concert.

As All the 3,000 fans are fan club members, everyone came in one color, orange club uniform, everyone came with a scintillating light stick, the atmosphere was bustling. To take are of fans from all over the world, Andy spoke in different languages, in Cantonese, Mandarin, English to greet the fans. Even in Thai , he said, “I love u, do u love me ??This made Thai fans tipssy, Andy joked that he had Thai gf before & he used those words.

When he introduced ?Ma Ma I Love U?, he used the oppoutunity to thank his parents, & said he will take good care of himself, he has a v warm family. When he thanked his mother, he teased his father not to get jealous, he is also included in the song.

When he received champagne from fans, he gave a bottle to his father inviting him to pop it at it same time , they toasted. He thanked his 3 sisters from overseas caming to support . It was a heartwarming scene. But Andy had only 6 tickets, it was not enough to giive to his younger brother & his wife, he promised to celebrate with him on his bday this Xmas !

Andy sang for a solid 3 hrs, it was encored twice, He said if it did not end soon he will be fined $500.000, then only the fans were willing to leave. With much sincerity he told his fans, ?Many thanks to everyone for the support, from now on I will think carefully myself, maybe I am a really too good a person. Many times I thought I could I could solve all the probnlems all by myself, I tought I am a superman, actually am not? . From now on I will concentrate to do well my work, contimue to sing & act.?The stadium responded loud in unison, ?Forever supprting huazai ! ?

After the concert at abt 11 pm +. , he had a celebration dinner together with Peter Lam & his gf at Tong Lor Wan, leaving at abt 12 .

[ Apple Daily] Andy brought to his fans essemce of his preevious concert, other than singing on the motorbike, flying in the air, singing in the rain, he performed Funky Jazz.

The most exciting part for the fans was his change of costumes everytime. After singing a few lines, he will take off the top, his toned ab muscles exposed proudly. Half of the time he was baring his chest, much to fans' delight.

When asked how long he takes to train to have such good torso ? He said abt 3 days. He wanted to train in Beijing but the weather was too cold, he found himself eating nonstop till he put on weight.

Andy will go to Sizuan on the 20th to enrol into the school.

The content of this concert is mainly to recollect the essence of all my previous concerts, all the memorable moments, bringing it up again for all to reminisce. Hope this concert can similarly engrave deeply on your heart.

TITLE: ANDY, TONY FIRST TIME SINGING A DUET

Infernal affairs is the collaboration of Andy & Tony in movie after a lapse of 10 years. Their friendship has gone a step further . Now the duo is singing the theme song in a duet in both Cantonese & Mandarin. The song is composed by Wu Yue Cheng & written by Lin Xi . Singing of the song is distributed evenly between the two. Andy is singing the first line of the Cantonese version, Tony the first line of the Mandarin version.

As both of them are v busy, they forgo their rest time to record the song till late into the night. Despite the late hrs, both showed no sign of tiredness, v professional indeed.

To give the song the best effect, the co had gone to Beijing to record a thousand-man orchestra playing the background music.

The Mandarin version of the song was initially to be sang by Jay Chou. Later boss Lam feels the effect is better if sang by both leads , & successfully get both of them to sing together.

Recording was smooth , completed within 6 hrs. Tony was a bit anxious at first, as he had not gone to the studio for a long time .

The co has set up double-sided glass panels alternating showing the pictures of Andy & Tony outside the cinemas, at a cost of $100,000, music will be played at the same time.

More than 2,000 fans will attend the concert U Are My Pride this Friday. A special poster was released yesterday. The poster has the pic of Andy. A closer look one can see the picture is made up by names of his 2,000 over fans. It is to signify Andy & his fans are heart to heart, v thoughtful indeed. Edition is limited & is worth collection.

Catchy has informed lucky winners to collect tickets few days ago. A hundred over turned up on the first day at the same time. Luckily it was orderly.

The stars are going to Taiwan for promo on the 11th.

First time practising alongside all the dancers today. Everyone put in full effort in the rehearsal. After that I practise singing with the band, the process is also v smooth, hope everyone would like the songs chosen by us.

Metro Radio had a press con for its Music awards 2002 yesterday to announce Metro Radio World Best Singers, Metro Radio World Best Stage Performance singers, names of Top 10 singers & the latest update. Haken Li, Eason Chan , Joey Yeun, Kelly Chen, Andy Hui, Gigi Leung, Mirium Yeung, Sammi Cheng, Andy Lau, & Twins are the top 10 short-listed.

Andy Lau & Kelly Chen are the winners of Metro Radio Most Airplay male & female singers.

Other than Sammi who is rumored to not attending any awards ceremony & Andy Lau who is busy with concert rehearsal, all the other singers were present.

Out of the 10 singers, Twins has 7 songs nominated, followed closely by Eason Chan , Andy Lau, Joey & Kelly with 6 songs each. Haken Li, Andy Hui, Gigi have 5, Mirium 4, Sammi 2. Jacky Cheung, Faye Wong, Aaron Kwok, Nic Tse, Jay Chou are not even on the Top 10 list.

TITLE: ANDY HAS NO MID-LIFE CRISIS

Andy has no mid-life crisis at age 40, for the reason every year he gives himself 2 long holidays to relax himself, see the world & not worry abt aging.

In his new movie, he as undercover bears the deepest secret that outsiders could never understand, bad & good ended with a final face to face challenge. It depicts the forlorn life of a man. In real life, Andy has too gone through similar challenging period.

On looking back , he said he had just gone through a court case that was never before. Though it is now all over, if he said he was not afraid, no one will believe him. He believes firmly that there is a solution to every problem. There wont be no more problems in future, one should relax & take it easy.

In his younger days, he worrid too much , including how others see him, & his image. After 40, he is not worried abt aging, all human ages, but not necessary all become ugly, he believes he wont be an ugly man.

In his long holidays, whether overseas or in HK, he put aside all his work, not contacable even by his workers so as to give himself complete rest.

Though have some flu, still hold meetings immediately after coming back to HK. Discuss matters with the executive producer of the concert , with the aim of having a memorable night.

TITLE: A MOUSE LOVES A CAT CREATE FUN DURING CHINESE NEW YEAR

Still remember the story of Qi Xia Wu Yi ? In the movie starring Andy & Cecilia, Cat & Mous, Andy acts of course as the Southern pugilist Zhan Zhao, Cecilia as Bai Yi Dang, , throw in Anthony Wong as Bao Gong, u can imagine how comical this movie can be .

The Cat & Mouse in this movie has an intricate relationship, each is against one another & yet treasures the opponent. After the true female identity of the Cat was revealed by chance, the two fell in love & are finally married.

The airport was v busty yesterday with Andy Lau, Eason Chan & SHE coming back from outstation to HK. Andy was no loser, a big group of fans welcomeed him at the airport. He however did not accept interview, & left hurriedly.

Last day of shooting in Beijing. Shooting has temporarily come to a halt for the time being , as I have to go back to HK to prepare for concert, in addition to having to attend the promo activities of I A. Very soon I am able to see all, feel happy & relaxed.

Metro radio is holding its music awards on Dec 29. Tough fight is seen among male singers . Present trend shows the top 5 male singers are : Andy Lau, Haken Li, Eason, Andy Hui & Daniel Chan.

Metro Radio has awards for top 3 singers, without naming the positions. Latest update will be out next week. Andy at the moment has the best result, with the other four coming up from behind. Haken Li shows marked improvement this year & has the chance of breaking into top 3.

TITLE: ANDY DOES NOT FORGET PRACTISE DANCING WHILE FILMING IN BEIJING

Andy is now filming in Beijing, but that does not make him forget to practise his dancing for the upcoming concert next Friday. He has taken out more than a million from his pocket to hold the concert for his fans. Even though it is only one show & is free, his attitude with work is the same. As he ahs no time to go back to HK , he paid for the dance teacher Sunny Wong to fly to Beijing. He rents a room, added in mirror to be used as a temp dancing studio.

He is learning secretly ‘Funky jazz; this time, & is confident he can gives fans a big surprise.

In this concert, many songs are re-arranged, so the dance are re-choregraphed. He videos his practise session & watch, together with Sunny they discuss the movements. His seriousness is as if he is holding 10 concerts.

Carchy is preparing to write down names of all the 3,000 fans who are attending, togeterh with the pic of Andy & make it into a poster, fans need only to book the cd set to get it.

TITLE: WINTERY NIGHT PRACTISE DANCING, ANDY IRRITATED ANTHONY

Andy’s shooting is due for completion end of Nov, but his concert is coming near, he needs to practise. A serious worker he is, he gets up at 5am daily , by the time he finishes shooting is already end of the day. In order to practise, he flew his teacher to Heibei to teach him.

Once he pracised in his room, the dancing disturbed Anthony Wong who is staying downstairs. But Andy didn’t know, he thought there was no one staying. At last Anthony was so heated up that he stormed upstairs & yelled, ?What are u all doing ??When he saw it was Andy, he was embarrassed, he forced out a smile, ?U all continue to practise slowly !? Andy apologised , he thought of a way, he continue dancing on the bed !

With temp below zero, Anthony was only wearing singlet, it showed how heated up he was !

Andy is rather talented, he finished practising one song in 4 hrs.

TITLE: ANDY ONE AGAINST HUNDRED HIROIC ACT DESPITE TAKEN ILL

Andy & Chang Tat Ming were filming Cat & Mouse in Hebei . 2 days ago. He was at Hebei Zu Chou shooting a fighting scene. He acted as Zhan Zhao was fighting against a hundred over soldiers single-handedly. He was in an all white costume, fighting with sword & spear, indeed looking v heroic & brave. He is v professional too. Bu actually he was ill because of the cold weather, the temp at that time was below zero.

The scene was abt him going to marry Li Ping Ping. But as the two were abt to get intimate suddenly hundred over soldiers charged in. Zhan Zhou who is a highly skill pugilist, was angered & a fierce fighting broke out. Faced with hundred over fully armoured soldiers, he tried to break through.

Andy insisted on not using a stuntman, he held a ying-hua spear turned & somersaulted . In the fierce exchange, his furry headgear was even flung off. His palm & fingers were injured by the spear.

Though his attire was thin , the fighting generated much heat, he didn’t feel cold. In the cold weather, Andy was fully prepared, he has his own way of keeping warm, he wears few layers of warm thermals underneath. But the journey to filming site is a few hrs daily, as there was no heater in the car, all the windows were wind up, when someone has a cold, all will get it.

The weather is dry & harsh, Andy has brought a moisturer machine from HK, to increase moisture of his room. When he sleeps well at night, his hands & legs will be agile the next day. He joked that the cold weather wrinkled up his skin, as if he has aged 5 yrs after 2 weeks of stay.

He said, ?It is so cold here, but I am OK, many of the crew members have fallen ill with flus. I was sick for a few days.?

It was said that he will go to Sichuan to fooicially become student of peng deng Huai. Andy admitted, “After filming this movie I will go. Now still talking on the procedure, not official yet.?How long will he be learning ?

“See the talent, I don’t mind learning for 3 to 4 years to learn the complete course. To learn face-change, we are talking on 1 sec change one, the highest record my teacher has was chane 17 times in 25 secs. But he said changing more is not necessary good, as the audience may not have seen the face before u change again. ?

Would he have open show ?

?Never thick of that. I hope after 50 yr-old, I can be the first Hongkonger to perform this exclusive art overseas.?

Suddenly someone angrily knocked at the door. Saw a burly man at the door, wearing a singlet & a pair of jeans, he complained that we are amking too much noise, affecting his sleep. Ha ~~~ Ha~~~ everyone guess who this big guy is ! He is Anthony Wong, as his room is just below mine, so the practise affected his sleep, here I apologise to you , Anthony .

TITLE: ANDY DEBITED TENS OF THOUSANDS AGAINST FANS FOR HOT SONGS & DANCE

While shooting movie Cat & Mouse in Beijing, Andy at the same time is thinking hard & preparing his U Are My Pride concert to be held on Dec 6 @ E Stadium. He aims to have a concert style different from the usual in Coliseum, so as to give his 3,000 fans the best audio-visual entertainment. Souces quoted he forks out a 7-digit figure ( millions) for the production, inclusive of his fee for concert of 6 digit per night. He is really giving a super-most expensive gift to his fans this time.

O D is the first to get the details on the initial plan for the stage & the coastumes of Andy & his dancers. It is a 3-sided stage. The organiser plans to present his previous classics for fans on stage. There are still a lot of techincal problems to be solved.

In addition, to allow his 3,000 fans to revel at the same time with him, on both sides of the stage, big screens will be set up, so the happy moment can be shared by all.

To synchronise with dance & songs, Andy & the dances have tailored a new set of costumes. From the drawing, the dancers will wear skimpy low-cut sexy clothes, whereas Andy's costume is more conservative, there is the Chinese look that open in front & dance costume alike Latin dance, sorry no details on how sexy it is.

Today attended the press con for the movie. The reporters asked many questions, all seemed v much interested with the movie. This is the first time collaborating with an unit from Mainalnd, everyone is happy. The movie will be out during Chinese New Year, hope all will like it.

TITLE: ANDY & CECILIA, CAT & MOUSE TO FROLICK ON NEW YEAR SCREEN

The movie Cat & Mouse is adapted from the popular Qi Xia Wu Yi folktales. In an exaggerated manner, Andy acted as the 'palace cat' Zhan Zhao, & Cecilia as the 'Golden fur mouse ' Bai Yi Dang. How can a mouse ever love a cat ? This movie is just a comedy.

At the press con, the appearence of Andy overshadowed all the other stars . His ans to questions by the reporters were crisp & interesting.

"Andy, why do u wear a winter cap ?"

He quickly put his hands around the head, "My hair is not reday, not nice."

"Why do u choose to film period movie ?"

"I like period movie v much, even thinking of acting Yang Guo, but afraid I will be scolded if I dont act well."

Andy did not have any big project this year, now he is putting forth something at year end. It was unexpected that it turns out to be a new year movie.

It was said the movie is countering Hero at the same time. Andy replied, "If it is so, I am not afraid. If an actor is forever afraid, he does not need to film movies."

Li Ping Ping acta as a princess, who is involved in a love triangle with Andy & Cecilia. Of screen both ladies address Andy as 'young senior'. Li commented Andy looks unexpectedly young & is healthy.

Andy practised dancing in between shooting, this has benefited Li & Cecilia too.

TITLE: CAT & MOUSE PRESS CON IN BEIJING

A press con for the movie starring Andy, Anthony & Cecilia , Cat & Mouse , was held yesterday afternoon @ a hotel in Beijing. 100 over reporters from HK & Mainland were attracted. Other than the actors, boss Peter Lam & director Andrew Lau , executive director Peter Chen were present. The weather was v cold. Shooting was stopped for a day because of the press con.

Andy acts as Zhan Zhao, Ceciliai acts as Bai Yi Tang who has thick moustache on the face in the movie. The two pit their wits in the movie.

Cecilai decked out with 5 caret ring, diamond ear-rings & diamond Piaget watch. She declared, “I love Anthony! ?Out of nowhere Anmthony becomes her new-found love. She appeared in a stupor but broke out laughing when Anthony teased her with some jigzag puzzles. She praised that both Andy & Anthony are good guys & v professional.

When Andy was asked on Leon’s recent win as Best Actor at Golden Horse Awards , he praised that Leon had done v well. He respects him as to act in that role requires a lot of courage, he may not have the courage to act in such a horror flick.

As to Hero will be fighting with I A at box office, Andy said he is not worried,. If he is afraid then he does not need to film any more movies in future.

On the rumor that he is going to Sichuan to learn art of face-change in Dec , he indicated he wil only talk on movies, if ever he has learnet the art successfully he will tell everyone.

He did not know how come there are fake tickets, he commented there are mnay bad people in the world. He stressd that tickets to his concert are for fans only, one cannot get it even if in a life time.

Andy had an interview via phone by the radio stn yesterday. He said the weather in Beijing now is v cold, but he has to wear thin period costume to give the 'flowing' look . He had thus caught a cold, but after some medication, he is alright now. As required by the movie, he has to learn how to play 'ying hua' chinese spear ( one with streamers ). When asked abt the female lead Cecilia, he replied that she is well behaved, Anthony Wong is keeping an eye on her, what he has to do is to keep an eye on Anthony.

On his upcoming concert on the 6th with fans, Andy urges fans not to be cheated, the concert is free, only for AWC fans. He is v happy to see mnay new members.

TITLE: EDISON INJURED COLLAR BONE

In I A, Edison & Yu Wen Le had a fighting scene where both of them bare the upper torsos. Both of them acted as young Andy & Tony respectively. In a gun-fighting scene, Edison accidentally injured his collar bone. Not only he did not complain, he commented that it is tough to be a cop.

Edison's look in police uniform resembles Andy's role in TVB series The Emissary , Andy said, "I was not as handsome as him that time."

Andy is presently filming Cat & Mouse in Beijing, he will be back on the 1st of Dec. For days in Beijing he is busy practising dancing for his concert with his fans on the 6th .

Finally has one day holiday after coming to Beijing filming. In between rest, as tomorrow need to use another type of weapon to shoot, I have to learn how to play at the hotel. Though so, it makes me know more abt this weapon, & easier for me when shooting comes.

Arrived at the new filming site, the weather is v warm today, it is sunny, such a good weather, must enjoy !

Today is the last day shooting at Hui Rou, shoot till late at night . Tomorrow going to another station to shoot. The first satge of fiming is v satisfactory & cheerful, hope it is as smooth in the next station.

TITLE: ANDY GOING TO SICHUAN TO LEARN ART OF FACE-CHANGE

Andy had pledged to be the disciple of face-change guru Peng Deng Hui earlier on. A newspaper from the Mainland reported yesterday that Andy has been officially registered as a student in Sichuan Opera School. Early next month he will go to Cheng Du to learn the art. The school will from a special teacher team to train him ! The report also said the popular academic figure Prof Cu Ceng Yan will write a poem called ‘Moulding Legenary Handsome Heavenly King?for Andy . To promote the movie I A, a series of mementos connected to the movie will be released, including comic books. The comic bk will be drawn by the popular cartoonist Li Zhi Yuan . The cartoon series will be released in 4 parts over a youth weekly. The complied copy will be out at the same time with the release of the mvie on the 12th Dec.

Andy’s role as undercover is good looking, with daily change of trendy suits . In contrast, Tony wore only one costume through the whole show, a leather jacket & a pair of jeans, just like a vagrant. But his jacket & jeans are branded, the despondent look cost few tens of thousands.

Began shooting of the 2nd fighting scene today, never thought the swordfighting skill I put aside last 2 yrs can put to good use again. Every movement is fierce, sharp & exciting . My body is also v agile !! Everyone just wait & see .

Andy is holding a 'U Are My Pride' concert next month to thank his fans . He has gone through thick & thin these 20 yrs in the circle . He is most grateful to his fans who are v loyal & never forsake him. The concert will gather surprises for fans & he will reminisce his 20 yr-classics on the stage.

The ticket is free. Earlier on there was a tcket frenzy with sale of counterfeit tickets & black market sale . Andy urges fans not to be cheated & do not buy illegal tickets.

The record co announces tickets will be out offcially today. Lucky winners will be notified to collect tickets. Authentic ticket will be revealed to the public, so fans will not be cheated.

Though it is a free concert, Andy who is always meticulous is not laxed , his dmands for the concert is equally stringent .

Though E Stadium is not comparable to Colisuem, he is thinking of throwing the same as in Coliseum, he is preparing to perform with 3,000 fans, making it a surprisesd & memorable occasion for all.

He has held many meetings with the staff. Choosing of songs alone is brain-raking. His classics are many, to select only 30 is quite a problem. He lets his staff votes for the songs. After several rounds, they are yet to come out with an ideal list.

Andy ( 41) & Dave ( 40 ) two matured men have special affinity for motorbikes. Their publicity posters incidentally all have motorbikes, displaying special charisma of matured men.

Have been in Beijing shooting for almost 2 weeks. Finally it snowed yesterday, but it lasted only 3 minutes, just like a sudden blossom that vanish !! Called home in HK & know the weather is warm, really feel like going home.

The weather in Beijing is not bad today, it was also sunny at the filming 'city'. Arrived at abt 10 am, asked the crew where the shooting would be. Luckily Andy hadn’t arrived yet , he was having make-up.

We had a tour of the city. The place looks grand & interesting. I saw a busy street. There was a gp of temp actors. They were the crew members for the movie Cat & Mouse . Suddenly my friend pulled my shirt, ?There, hua zai!?Where? Where ??I looked in all directions. “He has just passed by you ! So handsome !?As I craned my neck, suddenly a big brown horse passed by in front of me, I took a close look, its owner Zhan Zhao was riding it ! One word to describe: ---so handsome ! He was wearing a furry headdress, blue costume, black boots & holding a long sword on his hand. He was so brilliantly good-looking ! Perhaps due to the weather, he was seen having a running nose. He used Red Sun warmer to warm his hands. The warm pack was probably just been charged, he felt hot & put it down after a short while.

When the horse walked to below the eaves to eat, he was so cute, worried that the low eaves will touch his head, he held on to the eaves with one hand , with the other he held the horse, & tilted his head to one side. He continued to let the horse eat, maintaining with the same pose, he is so loving to even his horse. It is indeed v touching to see him like that.

"Ti~ Ti ", a car coming from behind, he gave way, & rode to in front of me. He was so near, abt a meter away. We waved to him, he saw us, felt so happy. We showed him thumb-up, he smiled proudly & nodded to me. “Hua zai, get ready !?The crew member yelled. “Action?He took a deep breath, gave a pat on the horse & off he went. He looks just like a magnificent swordsman. As the scene had to be taken a few times, he repeated it 3 times.

The 2nd scene he had no part. He sat beside the director to see filming process. I stood behind his chair. He was serious, but smiled every now & then. The worker gave him water, he took a few meat dumplings. When he turned & saw me, he smiled. The scene was abt a brat beaten up by either the Cat or the Mouse but was not contented, he wanted to challenge again, he kept blaming his servants for being useless. It was v comical. But as dubbing was live, I dared not LOL. Andy covered his mouth to giggle, his head swayed from side to side, just like a kid.

The scene was over at abt 1130am.

After lunch we stood outside a room where Andy was having lunch with the HK staff, to listen to his voice. We could hear loud laughters, could also hear him talking.

When he was told to come out for shooting, he stood relaxed outside the house, we waved to him, he was v happy. He swaggered out, in front of the restaurant/lodge, we were taken by surprise to hear him broke out singing.. After 5 sec were we then able to recall what he had sang . It was the chorus of Lai Shen Yuan. It was excellent .

The shooting began with him entering to the restaurant. He carried his long sword on his shoulder, his walking was so captivating. After shooting, he came to the director side to look at the screen. I was worried that he might not be in good mood, as he looked serious. Suddenly he broke out laughing, hahaha..

Filming continued later within the hotel, we chatted with some of the actors. They all praised highly of Andy , saying he is a v warm person & does not put on airs.

We glued our eyes to the upper floor of the restaurant.. After abt 30 mins, he opened the door upstairs to take some fresh air. We waved , he nodded & smiled, so warm of him. We ssw him taking out handkerchif from the pocket to blow nose, felt v sorry for him. He stayed till the next shot & went in again.

After another 20 min, he came out & called the driver & staff. It was 4 30pm, time to knock off. We followed him as he went up the car. But the other crew members were called back to the restaurant again. We said byebye to him, but his car turned back to the filming site.

We left at abt 5pm, as the journey took over an hr & it was getting dark. Before we left, Andy was still shooting in the restaurant. ?

Today started shooting scenes on fighting. At the end of the day the martial art instructor work out some actions, to make the scene very exciting. More tired today, so fell asleep easily, to be well prepared for the activity at 6 am tomorrow.

Jacky Cheung was in Taiwan recently. He was invited by Matilda Tao for tea at Yang Ming San. When they passed by a flower shop, the auntie shop owner asked autograph from Jacky. Matilda asked her if she knew which superstar he was. The auntie asnwered confudently, “I know, he is Andy Lau !??

In the new movie, I A, Andy & Tony are both foes & friends, each trying to outwit the other, hotly antagonistic. Both of them are confident with movie nominations in next year’s Golden Horse Awards.

Asian edition of the posters were air-flown to Taiwan. It hit the street yesterday. The distributor Long Siang Co disclosed in order to settle the line-up of the names for the 2 big stars, Andy was posed on the left, Tony on the right on the poster, but the names were written the opposite way. The co said it was actually possible for the movie to be in time for Golden Horse Awards this year, but Media Asia was in no hurry, as they want to make final editing the best too. They aim for awards next year. It is believe both actors stand good chance to be nominated.

Andy acted with Tony in the popular TV serial Duke Of Mountain Deer before. One was the emperor, the other was Xiao Bao, it was comical. Now their roles in the movie are to depict characters twisted by reality of life, it is a much tougher act.

After finished filming today, together with the crew members had dinner with Anthony Wong, to clebrate his win at Golden Horse as Best Supporting Actor . Good friend win an award, of course I am v happy !

The weather in Beijing is colder than before, even the lotus flower pond in the hotel has frozen into ice.

Andy is holding a one-night U Are My Pride concert next month on the 6th. It is a free concert with no ticket sale to the public. But fans who cannot get the tickets are still trying ways & means to get tickets. Other than local fans who crazily went to Andy’s house to protest , or call or fax Catchy continuously, overseas fans are similarly caught in the frenzy. Some from China, Japan & Korea came personally to HK to hand up the forms to Catchy. Those from M’sia, S’pore , Thailand or Taiwan who cannot come ask HK friends to call the co to ask on ways of acquiring tickets.

Some fans fell into prey of fraudsters. They were duped into believing tickets could be acquired with money. Some parted with $2,500 for a false ticket. They complained to the record co, Catchy however was unable to help them & told them to report to the police. Tickets have not even been released yet. It stresses the ticket is free, & urges fans not to be cheated again.

For fans who are not able to go the concert, the co has planned to record video clips of the concert & put it in the cd which is due for released just before Xmas.

All the fans are to wear the orange club uniform, it is going to be a grand sight of only orange that night.

I A has the strong cast of Andy, Tony, Eric Anthony, Sammi & Kelly. This strong cast is a rare occurance these few years. The movie co is splurging 5 mil on its publicity blitz, even the cars & watches used by Andy & Tony in the movies will be given out to fans.

3 different posters have been printed. Giant posters are up in mnay places in HK. The sponsors will give out the cars & watches totaling a mil over.

As many scences are v attractive, a pictorial book on the movie will be released. Mementos such as card calendar, box calendar, a set of 6 palm-size figurines, tee-shirts, pen holders, postcards, key-chains, badges, notebook, chess-sets, scarf, umbrellas, lighters etc will be released.

A survey made by Xin Pao reveals that Andy Lau & Chang Hui Mei are the most popular male & female idols of the present generation of youngsters.

The survey was made to cover age gp of 18 to 30. Andy Lau is still high at the top as the male idol, with 5.9 %. Jacky Cheung was No2 with 4.3 %.

Though over 40, Andy maintains his charisma. His 10 over mandarin albums released in TW were liked by many youngsters. Time has not taken much toll on his face, at this age, he exudes charisma of a matured man, he looks radiant always. It is no wonder he is the no 1 idol of many.

Anthony Wong had won Best Actor award @ Golden Horse Awards last night. He is now filming Cat & Mouse in Beijing. When contacted through phone, he was having steam boat dinner with the crew. The crew celebrated with him. Andy & Cecilia were busy filming & were not there. He regretted that he was not there to receive the award but said that at this economic slump, one is lucky to have work to do.

Andy & Tony Leung will go to Malasia for the premiere of I A on the 7th next month. He will meet fans at Jia Di cinema same day at night .

Malaysia is the first station in the world for the premiere of the movie, even HK is premiered later than Msia ! The movie will hit all screens on the 12th.

Their schedule is v packed . After early morning arrival , there will be continuous publicity activities, including press con. He will meet fans just before premiere at night.

Both stars will leave Msia for S’pore on the 8th for the 2nd premiere in S’pore. On the 9th, they will then be back to HK for the movie premiere .
