As one of the producers, Andy said he has always wanted to get a group of good brothers to act in a movie, this time he has his wish fulfilled.

The director gave us ample space to develop the character, the shooting site was just like the title of the movie, we are all brothers, everyone was 'I help you, you help me.', everyone sincerely, humbly asking another on his acting, from the initial different view points, we merged & came the same direction, the working process is one that is worth reminiscing."

Andy had always dreamt to shoot a movie with his good brothers, finally it materializes when Felix, Ken, Miu Kiu Wai, Lam Ka Tung, Eason Chan et al came to support, it was a dream comes true for Andy!

At the gaily lit Chang Chun city Nan Ning stadium Andy Wonderful World Concert Tour kicked off in Chang Chun. 50,000 audience spent a most passionate & moving night with him.
In a long silver gown, Andy started the show with song The Chinese, followed by Wondererfs Love Song, Man Cry Is No Crime & other classic songs. It was a raging sight of screaming, yelling, bogeying, jumping & bouncing. At that moment no one wished to remain silent.
Andyfs performance on the stage far exceeded the energy of his age, he had steamy hot dance with the female dancer, showed magic skill, in a twinkle he gave a lady 6 to 7 change of clothes, winning loud applause from the audience.
Classic old songs, love songs all incited response of the thousands of fans. It was like a steaming sea when thousands of hands waved in unison.
Stupid Child, Water to Forget, were songs that gathered the most heated response. For years Chang Chunfs fans now have a chance to release their passion. When he exposed his tout muscles, somersaulted, almost close to zero fat beautiful bod was exposed, suddenly a high pitch scream of I Love You exploded from the audience, the scene was indeed rapturous.
Compared to other singers, Andy's concert stage is indeed different. The design is bedazzling & ever changing. There are many traps, to help Andy become a 'flying man in the air', y wires were hung in many places, making eyes be dazzled.

Recently there was a report saying that Jet Li has a fee of
US$ 10 over millions, even higher than Chow Yin Fat & Jacky
Chan, & Andy who co-stared The Warlords with him,
taught him Chinese for 45 minutes a day.
Andy quipped that Jet Li that he knows is currently the foremost person
both in writing & in martial art in China, his knowledge is
deep & wide, he knows everything & talks on anything,

Zhejiang province was attacked by typhoonrecently, days after days
were rainstorm, the situation was disastrous in many areas.
Andyfs concert in Wenzhou almost had to be called off ,
luckily heavenly gods were kind to Andy, it stopped unexpectedly
before the concert, the audience & Andy all yelled,
"Indeed very thankful, thanks to the heaven for giving us

10 years later Andy was back to hold concert in Wenzhou,
before his arrival he heard about the typhoon, the workers who
arrived earlier were told to evacuate from the hotel twice
in the middle of the night, as the hotel was the epic center
of the typhoon, those who refused to leave had to sign
a note.
As the workers had to guard the many equipments &
luggage for the concert, not a single one left the hotel.
Andy was very touched on hearing this.

Andy said the rain was actually incessant, never had he

to have his holidays, he will be back to HK to have

Oscars application closes on Oct 1. The Warlords has not
confirmed which country it will represent, Peter Chan has flown
to BJ recently to discuss with the China & American investors.
They have come to a conclusion to not applying
for this year Oscars. It plans to enter as an American movie next year.
Jet Li's acting is said to be good & has a chance to be
nominated for Best Actor.
At the BJ press con, Peter disclosed that if the movie is
screened in the mainstream cinemas in America early
next year, it will qualify for Oscars, "Applying for Oscars has
promotional effect, but I still have a lot of work to do,

Yesterday, investors of The Warlords concluded that

Jet Li speaks fluently in English, but actually his standard in
Chinese is very limited. Even so, his fee is one fold higher than
Chow Yun Fat who is educated & same as Jacky Chan who
has a fee of 15 mil US$, topping all the Asian actors.
In filming The Warlords, there was a scene when Jet,
Takeshi & Andy vowed to be sworn brothers.
The words come in 4 syllabus, the 3 of them had difficulties
in remembering them, thus the crew wrote the words
on small pieces of paper, the problem came with Jet, as he is
illiterate, he had to memorize the lines by hard to complete the part.
Jet is not at all ashamed that he is illiterate, he admits
bravely. "When I was young I practiced martial arts 8 hrs a day,
I simply refused to study."
His script has to be read by his asst for

Kaneshiro may be the dream cast
for any movie, but the potent combination
of these three top actors is also
a potential nightmare for any director.
The trio is headlining The Warlords, the
US$40-million ($60.7-million) gritty war epic
helmed by Peter Chan, which is touted to be
the biggest Chinese film of the year. It is slated
for a December release in Asia.
"In commercial films, big stars don't
usually work together. You don't see Brad
Pitt and Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson together,
because there will be questions of
who¡¯s going to steal the show or who gets
final cut," Chan said in an interview on
Wednesday, when he was in Singapore.
"Even in Chinese films, you rarely see
so many big stars together. But in this film
all three actors are A-listers, when you only
have about six A-listers, max, in Chinese
showbiz. I was under pressure ¡ª would the
three of them come out okay?"
The Warlords is a remake of the 1973
film Blood Brothers (Ci Ma). Set in China
in the mid-1800s when the Taiping Rebellion
rocked the Qing Dynasty, the story
revolves around three sworn brothers,
Ma Xin Yi (Li), Zhang Wen Xiang (Kaneshiro)
and Cao Er Hu (Lau) and how their
lives are changed when they are drawn to
different sides of the rebellion.
It may be months before The Warlords
is released, but already, the film is
generating controversy.
After big-budget epics such as The
Banquet was snubbed in previous years,
The Warlords is an eager China's hope
for a Best Foreign Language Film Academy
Award at next year's Oscars.
This means, however, that the country
has to submit the film by Oct 2 for it
to be considered.
But the film's American producer,
Andre Morgan, wants to forgo the Best
Foreign Language Film category and gun
for the film being considered for all the
other Oscar categories, but only after it
is released Stateside next year.
This means The Warlords will only
be eligible for the Oscars in 2009.
The latest news is that the movie has
been dropped from the Best Foreign
Language Film bill.
"I can't say one way or another what
I think. I don't want to comment, but
both arguments are legitimate. After
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon won the
Best Foreign Language Film Oscar (in
2001), almost every other year there is a
conflict like this. Before, nobody cared
about that category!" said Chan.
"This is not a film that needs Oscar
buzz to attract Western distributors, because
you already have a name like Jet Li
attached to it.
"So, the nomination is simply icing on
the cake, it's not a must."
The prolific Bangkok-born, Hong
Kong-based director, whose last film was
the Takeshi Kaneshiro and Zhou Xun musical
Perhaps Love in 2005, revealed that
his style of film-making is a "spontaneous"
one where the script gets revised even in
post-production. This makes the issue of
whether all three actors would get equal
play more worrisome.
"Until the final cut, I could never
make sure. No matter what, the film
comes first, so there was the concern if
any cuts made would be at the expense
of any of the actors. But people who I've
shown the final cut to said, you've balanced
them very well."
Ask just how well the three stars are
balanced and Chan himself is amused at
how carefully he had to craft his reply. "Jet has the biggest role, in terms of
screen time. Andy has the most likeable,
sympathetic role and Takeshi has the
most emotional role at the end. It was a
difficult role for him because for 100 minutes
of the film, he had to suppress all his
emotions."
While Kaneshiro was a shoo-in for
the character of the cold-blooded but loyal
Zhang, there was some concern over
whether Lau and Li were the right actors
for their respective characters.
There was contention between those
involved in the film over whether Lau
and Li should even switch roles.
Li's Ma is a "intellectual and complex"
character who has certain dreams
and ambitions.
"To make that happen, he needs to
compromise on some moral issues,¡± said
Chan. ¡°That kind of role seems more
typical of Andy, especially after his role
in Infernal Affairs."
Meanwhile, Lau's Cao is a traditional
good guy, the kind of character that
audiences would expect Li to play. On
the surface, the Cao character doesn't
require as much acting, which would seem
right for Li, who is more known for being
an action hero than a dramatic actor.
But after speaking with Li, Chan said
that he realised that Li was the right man
to play Ma.
"Jet is not just an action star anymore.
His life experience and the fact
that he¡¯s religious ¡ He's almost like a
philosopher, he has a lot of ideas about
how life should be and things like that.
"He's much more complex than people
think. He¡¯s certainly the most complex
of all the three actors, in terms of his
personal life," said Chan.
"So, I guess it's not a bad idea to
show that side of him to audiences who
have never seen it before."

Concert Tour in China has changed the date of Andy's
concert in BJ to Nov 2.
At the same time, the concert in Fuzhou
will be brought forward to Oct 21.
At the moment, ticket sale to Fuzhou concert has been
in full swing.
The change in time table is because of the changes made with
the few stations, among the 15. After several meetings
with Andy & his managerial company, BJ organizer in showing
their sincerity has specially imported advanced equipments
from abroad, to ensure the smooth running of the concert
& to give the best audio-visual effect.
The change has somewhat ease the initial tightly packed
schedule, giving Andy more time in between concerts to
readjust himself. At that time fans in BJ will be able to see a
better evergreen heartthrob.
Andy is holding 10 over concerts in the mainland currently,
wherever he goes there is no lack of heavenly waves.
Last week in NJ concert, fans climbed trees, gate-crashed just

Andy will now have 2 concerts on Oct 27 & 28 at the
stadium that can house 80,000.
Andy is excited with the additional show, & has planned to

have hopes on being nominated for an Oscars nomination.
But in actual fact, nvestors of The Warlorss are having a heated
debate over the application. Peter Chan is caught in between
& has agreed to go to BJ for a three-party discussion for a solution.
Half a year ago when The Warlords wrapped up, investors from
China & America have already argued if they should apply for
an Oscars Best Foreign Film nomination this February.

Jiang Su province kicked off last night Sept 15.
Andy did not have any guest this time, he singly handled
the whole show. The choreography was unique & meticulous,
in a musical style linking up the show.

Evergreen in the showbiz 25 years, Andy Lau has put in much
sweat & toil, he has to tighten his tummy to lead a life of little
taste.
3 nights ago at the N J concert he undone his shirt to reveal
his tout 6 packs, At 46 he is still stunning, capturing hearts of
40,000 who screamed till their voice turned hoarse.
But actually during these 10 yrs whenever he opens
shows, his 3 meals are simple to the core, abstaining salt,
oil & carbo. He drinks ¡®voice opening tea¡¯ which costs 5,000
per set to maintain his vigor, in a month he loses 10 lb swiftly,
the speed is almost like the spokesman of the slimming center.
3 nights ago he was at his 4th leg of concert tour in N J,
now in Chang Re for another show. Andy who is always
trim & slim seems to have lost a little weight, he has almost
zero fat, when he opened his shirt to dance & sing, his 6 packs
is the envy of all, no wonder fans were thrown to a frenzy.
Entering 46 end of this month, Andy is actually fat to start off with,
when he was shooting Emissary, he was still green & not matured,
his weight was at 180lb. But over the years as he grows he
seems to get lighter.
This is because he is very careful with his diet. Man at middle
age is especially prone to weight gain, to kick off the pot belly
is tough. Being at heavenly status he has to maintain at tip top
condition, he has thus sought health instructor to learn how
to keep fit & tone up the muscles. In addition he has to lead
a life with little taste, so as to be able to expose his muscles
in front of tens & thousands.
It was said during these 10 yrs a month before the show,
he begins 3 abstains, in the 3 meals he abstains from oil,
salt & carbo. In a month from the initial weight of 155 lb he
becomes 145 lb. Accordingly even mama Lau brews soups for
him Andy will refrain from taking before & during the shows.
No salt in the soup, all fat has to be removed from the meat,
simple & tasteless are the principle.
But Andy is good at preserving his vigor, he always drink
Chinese physician 'voice opening' tea, which comprises wild
ging seng, codyceps, & other precious herbs. Each set costs
5,000, to be used 3 times. Though pricy, after taking he feels
very good, it helps to maintain his qi.
Thus, most of the time he has a pot of this sort of tea beside
him. But in the days when he is not having concert,
he takes meals as usual, but he abstains from taking
supper. During dinner time if he begins to feel full, he will put
his chopsticks down to rest a while, to prevent himself
from eating too full.
Recently he has lost 10 lb, undeniably it is due to intense
dancing, said, "Indeed (I have) lose some weight, as every night
after the 3rd song, I am already wet through, at the backstage
the make-up artiste do not even want to do touch up
for me, as in 3 secs, my sweat will smudge the make-up."

Xiao Fang takes Andy as his idol in the entertainment circle, as he feels
that in Andy in career development, at every stage, be it in
singing or acting he has excellent performances, & he
continuous to progress.
Xiao Fang & his fans have a common final goal, that is to
imitate Andy to have a permanent fan club. "Just like Andy having
a club that allows fans to gather, it can function like a
company, but I do not have a lot of fans, so for the time being
the first thing to do is to do my work well
& to make good of myself."
Andy has completed 4th leg of his concert tour in
Nanjing & had flew to Chang Re for the next.
The concert was a sold-out 2 nights ago in NJ, no a single seat
was unoccupied. When concert started, the 2 big gates on both
sides of the stadium were forced open, at least 5,000 people
rushed into the stadium.
Restaurants near to the stadium too benefited, the seats
which could see the stadium & close to the windows
were sold at 100 rmb per seat, & restaurants were packed to the brim.
Since coming down from the plane, Andy was the target of the media.
2 nights ago he had wanted to go for rehearsal but when he
heard the stadium had many unwanted people, including a woman
with a child was on the stage waiting to get his autograph,
& many more fans were at all the gates. he had to call it off.
In the afternoon 2 days ago, under safe condition,
he hurried to the stadium for an hour or so of rehearsal.
At night he had the actual performance.
After the show he quipped, "Fans in Nj are v passionate,
as I sang, I could see many people rushed in from
somewhere, & both sides of the stages were suddenly packed
with people, I don¡¯t bother how they come in, I only
worried about their safety. I just concentrate on my
performance, hope that everyone is happy."
In his own blog last night, he said "How Are You Feeling?
There are many different obstacles on earth, we have to
know how to handle them, nobody is able to make till EVERYONE
feels the 100% he wants! EVERYONE is only able under his
own ability, conveyhis actionss. What they hear, what they see,
is not all, it may be biased, so this is nothing, I plead with
all not to use such harming words, I know beforehand that
you will worry my mood will be affected, Yes! Before this I will,
but now I will not! I have seen enough! Just like Andox & his
uncle, the earth will have a space for me to develop myself."
Andy also said he had read fans message, & wishes to
tell them a few words,
"Don't blame them, especially don't have adverse feeling
for Nanjing, haven't you seen at the scene, there were
countless invisible angelic wings protecting me, NJ is just
like any other home. Everywhere are Angels. It is because
there are as many angels as the stars in the sky as my
support, I am capable of facing the bad with ease! I feel like
normal, wind blows around me, I have to set off to another home!
Excited, anxious. Here I shall staop¡ take care¡"
In his blog he posted pictures of the backstage.
So-called luxurious make-up room as requested by him, was just a
simple tent, Andy was alone sitting in the make-up area, doing
make-up for his concert, there was not an element of glamour.
The rumor is indeed a rumor.
The reporter asked Andy if he is angry on being misunderstood,
through long-distance call, he said, "no, everyone knows
it is not true, I trust the local reporters was not fully aware of the
whole truth, N J media was v nice to me, after the concert,
they covered the news with pages & pages on the paper, praising
that it was v successful & good to watch. Also the audience was
v passionate, until now I still cannot forget."
Now in Chang Re for the 5th concert tonight, Andy is already
preparing for concerts in HK.
After the concert, Andy seems to have lose some weight.
Said Andy, "Indeed loss a little weight, as after the 3rd song I
will be already all wet with perspiration, at the backstage,
other than changing costumes, the make-up artiste is lazy to
do touch up for me, as in another 5 min, my make-up will
be gone with the perspiration. So it is better to go
without make-up."
Some fans left words asking him not to lose weight,
Andy said he has not controlled his diet nowadays, "I take full
3 meals just that I don¡¯t take supper. Due to more dancing,
& the big stage, after turning round 2 times, all will be
wasted. But I feel my condition is extremely good,
please do not worry. I won't be losing weight, as lately I
eat a lot! "

It is said Exiled & Protege stand a good chance.
As for The Warlords, it will be submitted in the mainland
for a nomination, but the movie by Feng Xiao Gang The assembly
comes strong, if The Warlords is not able to represent
mainland, it will come to HK to fight for a place.
This year the result will be more confusing.
Most movies are a collaboration of the 3 nations
across the straits, the movie production is confusing,
such as the one by Jiang wen The Sun Still Rises is coming to
fight for a place in HK.
